Hi just wondered if any of you guys have a mill from the RP millmaker in the Philippines i have a standard mill from him and it has started to run very slow anyone else had this problem? I spoke to the builder and said spraying silicon grease onto the bearings will help but i have my reservations, anybody know how to give one a good service? That can give me some advice?

    Cheers appreciated

also. think about replacing the old bearings with newer skate bearings with a very high ABEC rating. the higher the abec rating the freeer and faster the bearing will turn. i think they go up to abec 12's these days....ask any skate boarder people you may know.....they can def. help with bearings...

Cheers, i cant get into the bearing on the wheels only the 2 corner wheels to be honest a bit disapointed with the quality of this mill its a good valuable piece of kit bit the videos show it to be very free turning i struggle to get 3 turns out of it and im a big strong lad if i can get into the bearings though and change to a better quality it may improve.

take a flat head screw driver and put it "inbetween" the bearings (theres two in each wheel) then just knock it out with a hammer once your angled in there just right....hope that makes sense....

Replace bearing with Abec 5 bearings for skate boards! should be the same size as a inline skate wheel(better spinnage!) maybe i needs 3 in 1 oil on the original bearing, but protect the wood from the grease tho?

If you need bearings, or most any other hardware, check out McMaster-Carr ( http://www.mcmaster.com/# ).

They have a huge selection of sizes, styles, load ratings, etc.
