This shit is no joke! Worked much better than I originally anticipated.

I had brought one of my males in the house 3 weeks ago to do a breeding with him. While in the house, for about a 6 day period, he had developed a really bad skin issue. Looked more like allergies originally in which this particular dog has never had any signs of and he's 7. Started out as Hives all over his flanks, neck and hind quarters. Even the top of his head. Shit looked aweful. I washed him in a hydrocortisone shampoo and put him back out on his chainspot. 3 days later he looked raw and bleeding from his constant chewing at himself.

I started to begin to look for somewhere around here that sold NuStock but could only find it online and I really didn't want to wait any longer to start some kind of treatment. Promoe turned me on to this product Corona and in just 5 days with antibiotics and using this ointment my male looks like this (picture was taken yesterday. )

I was blown away by the results in such a short time frame. Give this stuff a try if you ever have a dog develop damn near any skin issue. Best 23 bucks I've spent in a long time.

Corona ointment works good on a lot of skin issues.

Poor dog must have been miserable, congrats on getting him sorted so quickly.
As an aside, I was culling dogs with foot & skin issues for years until switching from a cereal/beef based kibble as yardfood, to a rice/beef kibble. The change isn't all down to breeding practice ;) A few made it thru the bad days & I still have their descendants.

I have used pig oil and sulphur and got great results with skin issues. Fairly similar to nustock but a fraction of the cost, can be got at horse supply stores I'm very impressed with the results gotten above with corona ointment

Holy shit, what a turn around. Thanks for sharing with us, good to know another product is bulldog tested and works. How does it smell AGK? NuStock is so damn strong and smelly lol.

It smells like a weak version of Vicks vapor rub. It says no gloves needed but I still use them anyways. Don't want that shit all over my hands. Apply it it very generously.

I’m curious as to the range of potential causes (internal, external, genetic etc) of such an outbreak on an otherwise healthy dog as AGK stated upfront..

I was too GK1. I still would like to know. He has been in the house periodically throughout his whole life and never had an issue. The only thing different here is my ol lady has a cat.

Maybe he's just allergic to that feedburner as I am. Lol.

In all seriousness, nothing has really changed here or new to him. It started by bringing him in the house to do a breeding with him. He broke out in hives everywhere so I ended up finishing the breeding and putting him back outside. He spent most of his time while in the house, in a crate. It's truly mind boggling. I'm OCD with cleaning so perhaps it was a chemical or cleaner I've used recently or the detergent I used to wash the blanket in his cage. IDK. I do know though, he looks 90% better than in those first pictures so whatever it was it's healing up. All I used was a 7 day dosing of 500mg Cephlaxin and that Corona cream.

I'm not sure if that stuff works or not. My dogs lick it off as quick as I put it on lol. Charlie looks 100x better in the 'after' pic so it appears it does. I just can't keep the stupid dogs from licking it off.

Treezpitz have you tried giving them something like a cannon bone immediately after treatment? Usually takes their mind off it for long enough that medications have a chance to work.

I do have a ton of spiders in my back area because of the
Charlie licks at it too.. I would just cover him with the stuff 2 times a day anyways. Lol. There's always the cone of shame. :D

How weird, I had the same thing happen after breeding one of my males. He lost the hair on his back, his tail and developed hot spots. I basically ended up doing the same thing you did, except I used NuStock and I wiped him down all over with Cetaphil wipes three times a day. I also have him on Apoquel.
