if we were at war with you guys, well, sorry but yeah. but for the time being you are our allies, so you are "our people", maybe not americans but your our folks!

 

i doubt that will ever happen, we have to many of the same ideals.
i just thought id ask and put a different perspective on what you said.

 

No, being the worlds police is what put our country in the state it's in (or should I just flat out say the bush administration, not that Obamas doing any better) and allowing our politicians to line their pockets off the backs of our soldiers. Lets face facts here, those people over there need to be ruled with an iron fist, always have and always will, thats why they never had problems over there when Saddam was in power becase he would wipe out you and your whole bloodline and they knew it, it kept them in check. Who are we to force our beliefs and politics onto other countries? They have been fighting over there since before the time of written word! We are not going to change that. They believe in Islamic law, we believe in Democracy, so why is it we have to go country to country and force our systems onto others? I would rather remove all our troops from the middle east period, they'll kill each other just as fast as we can do it. Bring the troops home and use them to protect OUR borders, lock the entrences to this country and worry about our own problems rather than tring to fix everyone elses problems while our country goes to shit. Use our millitary to gaurd our borders and to track down and extradite all illegals out of our country. Everybody looks to us to fix their internal problems, while our country erodes from the inside out......While I realize us being the last super power gives us great responsibility to help other countries and all but when your countries going down the tubes maybe we should stop worring about Iraq, Afganistan, Korea or any other rouge state and deal with our own problems first , them go help others. If all the countries that owe us money paid what they owed back to use we wouldn't have a deficit.......

 

Do you honestly believe they give 2 shits about you, your family or your kids, THEY WANT YOU DEAD! Come on people wake up. The type of people we are pursuing over there flew friggin planes into buildings here and killed more innocent people in one day than we have done in both wars combined this year. Funny how quickly people forget that......The biggest mistake was going over their at all. The place should have just been leveled like we did Japan, look how nice Hiroshima and Nagasaki look today, both places look fantastic now, maybe if we just would have done that from the get go we still wouldn't have to keep fighting a war that is not going to be won in my time or yours. So what, some gunners killed a few civilians by mistake big deal it happens in war, them fuckers strap bombs to themselves and blow up markets filled with their own people daily. I have no sympathy for them what so ever. NONE OF THEM. I'm sure their are good people over there just as there is anywhere, but they don't want us there so why are we still there.

 

We liberate countries to make them more in line with our way of thinking soley for finacial gain, then they fuck us over, Hell we trained the fucking afghans how to conduct warfare so they could fight the russians for us, and where did that get us, oh yeah they now shoot at us.........This country always does that. Lets go train them in millitary ways and then they turn on us and bite the hand that fed em........

Your distant neighbors down the street probably don't give two shits about you and your family let alone someone on the other side of the world... thats your mommy's job to care about you. What does that have to do with some ones right to live? I'm pretty sure with an attitude like yours, you don't care about people half way around the world either... would it be justice if they came and killed you and your family because of the fact? How did afghanistan turn on the United states? The country of afghanistan did not do anything to the U.S, we have invaded their country. The men supposedly responsible for 9/11 are not from afghanistan lol they are from pakistan and saudi arabia originally. The original taliban members are from Afghanistan, yeah. Osama bin laden had ties to them because he funded certain things during the fight against the soviets... but it was al qaeda who was responsible for 9/11... not the taliban. The taliban is fighting because of the invasion of their country... how is that biting the hand that fed them?

War is ugly.
However, there are some rules and when we disrespect and disregard those rules, we are no better than the enemy-and the only difference is bigger guns.
Every time I see shit like that I wonder which person is that going to push over the edge. Who is going to get that news and take that extra step to take the life of a soldier.

As for criticizing, damn right. I'm a god damned American and I'm allowed to criticize wrongdoing and injustice no matter who does it. That's the difference between my country and the ones we're supposed to be fighting against.

Yeah sure they didn't, they just let terriorist use their country to train countless other terrorist with the sole intention of killing as many of us as they can, while most of the hijackers were Saudi they were all trained in afganistan or Pakistan and who do you think trained them???? WE DID! As well as armed them.

And we flew planes into our own buildings? um ok, what benifit would that

I may sound ignorant to you which whatever, I'm not racist I hate everyone equally, but I watch american after american loose their life daily and for what? A politicians hidden agenda.

Nobody will change my way of thinking about it, I read and watch about it daily, and formulate my own opinions based of what I hear and or see not because someone else has a difference of opinion from me. I realize there is always 2 sides of a story but fuck them I'm worried about me and my family not them and theirs, I perfer a live and let live way of life whether or not you want to believe that or not makes no difference to me, I know me, you know what you what I type, which always leaves room for mis-interpertation.
Yet still, if I was the pres when those planes hit them building I would have leveled the middle east completly, they have been at war with each other since the dawn of time. so how many centeries does it take to get ones shit together, it only took us less than 200 years.

The point is, they were given approval from there superiors to enguage. Who are you to argue what is justified and what is not, your not there, and your not in their position to make that call. I did not call you ignorant because we do not agree, I said it because of the generalization you made of millions of people that live in a certain region. On one hand, you're saying we shouldn't be there for the obvious reasons that have been stated and the war is pretty much pointless as it is not benefiting us and they don't want us there anyways... and on the other hand you're saying blow the place up? How do those two correlate to one another? Blow up 20 something countries because of a rogue terrorist group? LOL! #1 this isn't about any one wanting peace or the state afghanistan was in before the war. Both of those are irrelivent to the issue. #2 thank god you are not prez because blowing up the middle east would have a devastating affect on our planet and our economy lol. smooooth move mr president.

 

I think most on here are getting it confused, I'm not saying we should be out to slaughter innocent people, but we don't know who the enemy even is anymore so you do what you have to do to stay safe and If I was the guy in the chopper and seen what I thought was an rpg I would light that place up just like they did....Just without all the chatter....
