  1. just my 1.5 cents = it does not sound like you are ready to start your own line of dogs just yet based on the tiny bit of info you stated . starting a yard, and starting your own family are vastly different things . yes, they are related, and there are crossover issues to both .

Before you do either figure out your goals . then do your homework to make those goals a reality . If you are motivated by coin, then i suggest you stop now , cause that's not going to happen. If your coin is light stop now, because they are going to burn through your coin no matter what you do provided you are doing right by them.

If have enough extra cash on the regular , and you are bitten by the love of our dogs, and game enough to stick with them when things get tough then wait until you're really ready . Don't rush into it or make nonsensical compromises . When you are ready good dogs will be available imho; then it's a mtter of connections , and how you have established a reputation or not for being a legit dog man = how you take care of your dogs/your yard, how you keep your word , how you are willing to listen, and learn as you continue . nuff said

  2. 1 minute edit window i forgot about smdh grrr .

give pups a longer look, these dogs develop/mature at different rates , and often outside the norm even in a known family that we have kept.
it won't hurt to look at the pup later 2.3.4. mths down the line . you'll kick yourself if you give/sell that pup, and you get a report on what a great bulldog it's turning out to be . if you don't have the coin to sit on what you breed to make sure they are worth feeding then you mos def are not ready to start a yard or make your own family/strain . after all you didn't know enough not to get worried just because they were smaller than you expected . be patient if you're going to deal with these dogs . smart + patience + practical/reasonable = you have a decent shot imho

  3. 1st. all folks should have two different strengths of colloidal silver on hand. for both humans , and animals. 10 ppm & 30 ppm .
use 30ppm for drastic issues like parvo. use it via rubber syringe (not a needle either btw) up their butt, and sprayed in their mouth 2 sprays 4x times a day . CS will give the pup a better chance to live than typical vet care will . use 30 ppm no longer then 2 weeks max for animals or humans . 10 ppm can be used for maintenance/insurance later . make bone broth to get liquids/nutrition into that pup asap .
generic pedialite is a secondary choice via mouth, and might be ur 1st. option until u cam make the bone broth .
btw you can subscribe to her free email news letter that will give you all sorts of tips/tricks so to speak that can help your hounds, and often save you coin/heartache too.

another things 7 in 1 /9 in 1 shots in of themselves can be problematic for grown dogs let alone puppies.

YES, THEY ARE CHEAP, BUT IN THIS CASE THEY ARE RISKY TO BOTH GROWN DOGS, AND PUPS. THE VETERINARY WORLD is now trying to educate us on the cons of cheap 5,7, or 9 way shots ! basic reason is that you are putting too many/much into a dogs system at once.
don't trust me though cause i'm nobody . do some online research on the issue yourself , always check things for yourself .
yes, that shot might have killed the pup , but it's know way you would have guessed that. yet, i don't know why you would give a sick pup shots in the first place, to me that's just stupid/negligent shots can wreck them when they are healthy. that is why the veterinary protocal is changing on administering unnecessary shots . i always say er on the side of reason 1st. and caution 2nd. fear is not caution, so don't get the two mixed up.

i even posted on facebook not long ago twice. once basically on my own to alert dog owners, and the most recent time with more professional information from veterinary sources . sheeple often won't listen to you if you're not a heath professional of some sort .

When you cross families you can lose consistency. My dogs are predominantly Red Boy Snooty and Snooty Red Boy. Some have a little Bolio others have a little Eli. I have pumps on the ground right now. At 14 weeks one looks like he is twice the size of his littermate. Looking at them no one would think they were from the same litter.

I am a fan of crossing dogs. Crossing families removes some predictability.
