puppie with no balls

Hi ,
At 2 month my puupie still havent his balls where it should be , is there a chance that it drop down later ?

My vet told me tha balls will never go down if they arent there by 2 month already .

 

Sounds like your vet's advice is a bit premature. They can feel around for them and see if his balls are in a position higher up in between his penis and where the ball sack will be later. I'd give it another month before I'd start worrying. Pups get excited too and then the balls ride up into the body further as well. Had this experience with a pup but they were down in place most of the time after he was three months old. Good luck.

 

WTF No disrespect but your Vet is an idiot. I've had dogs that didn't drop their nuts until they were 6 months. Your pup is fine. At 8 months if they haven't dropped then go to a Vet, a different Vet. Call around one day when you have time and find a new Veterinarian.

 

Actually i went to 2 different vet , of course my breeder told me the same as you telling me , that my vet is not trustable for this breed .

I feel better now , because i want to do ADBA show in the future .
Its good to have this forum .

My Friend told me there is a surgery that can help if the balls doesnt show up , do you know that solution ?
Of course i ll wait at least the puppie is 6 month old before doing anything .

iff you feel the ball sitting some where you must massage him to the ball sack every day for a few times always a minut or so, so you stimulate the ball to drop down.

i had a dog with one testicle that never dropped, I was told if it remains in the abdominal cavity it can cause issues later in life like a tumor/cancer. I never got the procedure done and my dog remained with one testicle for his entire life until he passed from cancer when he was 9. If it indeed never drops, i would suggest you proceed with the necessary procedure to remove them.

 

The body heat will cook the nutts if it never drops

 

yes the vet told it need to be removed at the age of 1 year if balls doesnt drop .

The vet here in Europe is no use for you
