Proud moment in "Mom's" life

Okay, so I've not been a member long and I've not posted much but I just thought ya'll would appreciate this moment and I'd share it with ya'll. Obviouslly I have a pit (otherwise I wouldn't be on this site LOL). And obviouslly he's the light of my life (again or I wouldn't be on this site). My husband and I are really into cars - they're our hobby you could say. We're both members of several different car forums. One in particular had it's 1st National meet very close to us, so we went. We took Cisco because he goes every where with us. While we were there he was SUCH a big hit they decided to make him the "mascot" of the car club. Am I PROUD or what. EVERYONE loved him...some were afraid of course at 1st. I know all of you know how that goes but once those few saw how well he was interacting with everyone else they would come up and ask a few of the regular questions like is he mean, will he bite, how big will he get, etc. Then they would relax when they saw the calm in his beautiful yellow eyes and just love all over him. I'll try to post some pics of him there later on (I'm at work now and technically shouldn't even be typing this LOL - I'm just so proud I couldn't wait any longer)...How great is that!!??

That's great. Unfortunatly the car shows that I go to don't allow dogs, so I can't take mine. Please post pictures (of the cars too

That is soo cool. Bet you would have never thought by taking your dog to a car show he would be named the mascot.

THanks everyone for letting me share this moment and no - we never IMAGINED that they'd want him as the mascot...we just brought him cause he's like our kid and you wouldn't leave a child behind. This is like top honors to us...I'm still amazed!!

Thanks again everyone...the car show was the BMCN (Black Mustang Club Nationals) in Pigeon Forge, TN. Their website is www.blackmustangclub.com if you wanted to check them out. I'll try to dig up some more pictures later. We had an entire wing of a hotel reserved for us to stay in and they had a section of their parking lot roped off for us plus welcome signs on their sign outside and in the lobby. The founder had scheduled dragon runs for us (www.tailofthedragon.com) which is a stretch of road that is 11 miles long with 318 curves...very fast driving but AWESOME!! She also reserved a section of Rusty Wallace Ford in Townsend, TN. They let us have a car show and a burnout contest in their show lot. Helped their business as well as ours. We recruited several new members and we had several different cruises in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, Tn. Just good clean fun. It was so awesome to meet people in person you've only spoke to online with the same "hobby" as yours. They were one of the best groups of people I've ever met in my life and I can't wait till next years!! The mustang in our family actually belongs to my husband but I'm a car nut too so I thuroughly enjoyed myself! More pics to follow...
