I just want it to be known that I am in no way, shape or form bashing this guy, I hope nobody picked that up from my last post, I never meant for it to sound that way. Because I appreciate what he did and respect it as well. I see it as he him standing up on my behalf, and for that I am greatful.

I hate rap, but love hip hop. This guy has been knocked down way harder than any us could knock him, yet he's gotten up, and by all perceptions is better than before he went down. Sounds like textbook gameness. To see people discriminate against him for reasons other than his message, is akin to discriminating against the dogs for reasons other than thier actions. (BSL) I agree with those that don't care about his race, sexuality, religion etc. if he's helping the dogs. Infact, his manipulation of the "ENGLISH", (so-called) language, showed his level of its mastery. Rappers, ok, well, M.C.'s, aren't stupid / uneducated. Infact, take "Das EFX", two english majors, with diggity - degrees. First rule of M.C. longevity is:
"Sell an image, never sell a record, image is respected, records come and go and get collected. Even the records of platinum artist who used to rip shop, can be bought for a quarter at the thrift shop." ...KRS-ONE

To reach people, you have to get on there own level; whether it be on a high level, or a low level, you must do it to reach them. For example, a pre-school teacher will teach a different way than a university professor. This was this guys way of getting the attention of the people that attended this show. Even if this guy was an 8Th grade drop out, does that mean he does not matter? We are all human. We were born, we will live, and we "ALL" will die. When someone can live forever, then I will say that man is more than me. Until then everyone is equal to each other. This my peaceful way of dealing with people like you!!!

 

Wow, I think that his message was well thought out,and his research and fact were on point.But everyone is entitled to his or her opinions,like this one...man those negative comments are a MINOR THREAT....JMO

 

OK I have tried to not comment on this. But as said in a previous post you gear your speach to capture you audience. Also He was speaking a form of poetry. Also as Marty has said he is speaking out on BSL publicly. Which many in this forum do not. What have you done lately to help these dogs is what you should ask yourself before judging someone else. And these past dogmen we look up to well alot were good ole country boys who also spoke broken english.

Look at yourself before you try and pass judgement on someone else.

 

Good post. To paraphrase the BSL slogan..."anyone can love a rose!" It says alot about someone to appreciate different forms of expression. Everyone can't be open minded and look at situations objectively. THe BSL fight must be multi-facated if its going to succeed.

 

Some of you people on this board make me sick to my stomach. Its very sad and disheartening to see most of you respond in such a negative manner. It seems that a few of you really need to reconnect with the Lord so you may see the bigger picture of what is taking place...

This post went from showing a video of a man who happens to be black spreading a POSITIVE message about pitbulls and how we ALL need to start uniting. , to people talking about how much education this man has....Us uniting with the "bully breeders" does NOT mean that we are uniting to breed them and its not that we accept their dogs, but we HAVE TO if we are to keep either ones. We ARE NOT the ONLY ones under attack. The bully breeders catch it all the time.

Who gives a damn about how much education this man has had and what he is doing with his life! He is out spreading a message about pitbulls and doing it in a way so that the younger generations don't CONTINUE THE NEGATIVE CYCLE these dogs must endure. He may be a member of the Razor's Edge club, but at least they are doing something positive to help save their dogs. All I see most of us doing is bickering with each other about NOTHING and putting each other down. Would you not call that being a "cur." Wouldn't you be a REAL dogman or dogwoman if you put your differences aside to unite for this breed. To me thats showing "game" if you want to put it that way! Any other way and its just curring out to me. Some people act with ignorance instead of thinking their way out and using their mouth. Shows the maturity levels and thinking levels of most on this board.

Well the way I see it is that he's doing something positive and if we had more people joining in to help spread the positive message, it would stop all this BSL BS and other things as well. Lets start focus on turning a negative into a positive and not the other way around. I'll be passing around color brochure type information packets all around my city. I'm putting them in stores and everything. They are all FREE. I will print something new every month. So people everywhere can read about POSITIVE THINGS.
