Hey give it hell man.I know people well off and never saw the first one of them tell how much they willing to spend on something..But hey what do i know right?...Just because you have money doesnt mean someone wont play you for a sucker man..IMO you better off to keep quiet about what ya got in pocket ..But at the end of the day its yo money my man.

Bama's advice is good. "Money is no object" is code for wide open fuck me in these dogs. There are a shizillion motherfuckers out there that get boners when they hear that. "Flashing" money can be taken by some as arrogance, and that can induce the willingness to screw you to pieces.
The old book, 'The Ugly American' doesn't express the sentiment of Europeans because they think we're futt bugly. It's inspired by how we act there with big money.
The moral is to be careful how you open yourself up to a good reaming. The end.

Get you a subscription to the Gazette and call up a few guys. You're not into game dogs so your search should be easier. Not only that you'd likely find something that will suite you and your daughter for about $500.00... No need to spend all that money on a pup. Get you a nice lil pup for $500.00 and spend the rest on treadmills, flirt poles, springpole setups etc. That'll come in handy since you want to show him/her.

I would'nt suggest that saying has anything to do with me........ I'm nothing more than a father that wants to make his only child happy. If you have kids I'm sure you know we as parents would do anything for our own. Thanks to all for the advice. I probably should have layed low with the financial aspect, I guess its just because people that are real breeders of these dogs wont just talk to anyone so I figured I had to find some way in since this is what I want. Much appreciation to all, I will post pics of the new family addition hopefully in the near future. God Bless.

well you have got some sound advice ...when I go to buy something I carry a certain amount of money with me and no more. And I am the only one who knows what I am toating. If I cant reach my price then Ill shake hands and wish you well..I have learned that about 95 percent will flex some on the price.

Just because a man ask a certain price doesnt mean thats the exact amount he wants. Most people I know leave room to negotiate and thats just good buisness practice.

Let me apologize firstly OP because you will hate this reply, however your post is both funny and confusing. Go get your daughter a pug or something, title or not your daughter will not know. SK and TG and their titled dogs not titled enough for your daughters part time "show dog"..lmao You think 4.500 should get you a better pup than they(SK,TG) have?? what have you based that on? better in what way??obviously done no leg work. You just want something you can brag on while your daughter walks it in the show ring, what would it matter where the title is from lol- seems like your "digging" for something you do not deserve? If you did, you would not be on the net bragging your 'BIG' money on open forums begging for pups from titled lineage for your child. You have other SBT's or whatever you should know the drill, sir(show them)..talk of big money for anything off a titled hound, please.. this is how these dogs get newsprinted time and time again..And one other point(off topic) for someone who has no clue, second place is just fine as long as you showed up and did your best, and went into the best you could, there is no disgrace in coming up short as long as you take the long road-ever seen 1lg in a ped maybe even 2lg? Your big talk of second place taking dirt naps says plenty about the ignorance in your head and mouth.. showguy..lol-get her a pug check the want ads at Dunkin Donuts.

Red War you are absolutely right in one aspect. My daughter use to love the attention she got with her dog. I would like to continue that....... So in answer to you, yes , I do want something she can walk in bragging with. We dont own pugs. No offense to those that do. Think about it this way, if you had money to drive a Ferrari, would you own a 1992 Ford Thunderbird ? Doubtful....... And I never said anything bad about TG and SK. Great kennels with great hounds.

Yea man thier is a bunch of options if you looking for show dogs and I agree with redwar TG wouldnt be a bad option.I dont know about SK.But I have heard of TG making things right with people if they are not satisfied with the product..But like I said thier are plenty more options. You may want to look into the Boogieman blood also.

Also you should read before you type..... I made it clear I dont care what kind of show the dogs sire or bitch titled in. Race or confirmation . Just want something thats got above average dogs in its lineage. That's all. Why does everyone on this forum get so froggy when someone is looking to buy a hound ? It's suppose to be a Xmas....... sometimes I really wonder about you guys. I see dudes on this forum openly poking and prodding in covos looking for match reports / chain weights / records, do you here me asking any of this ? No, because I am not an idiot .

The absolute wealthiest member at a staunch country club I worked at for seven years (who sold one of the most profitable, privately owned companies in the entire state and then they hired him back to run it again!) was one of the most conservative people with money you have ever seen.

When I was there, five out of seven of my cooks drove nicer cars than he did. Hell, that guy wouldn't even pay the valet, he parked down in the member lot and walked back up the hill.

Don't want to jump in the middle here, but I'm going to disagree with that statement.
