Possible new pup from Black Heart Kennels - GR CH Poison Orca

Tight line bred Orca Blood. Anyone have any experience with Black Heart Kennels ? If so, what did you think ? Thanks in advance.

My boy had one named black star ,I didn't care for him(my peds account is down or I would post a ped) not to say all were like him, but he was advertised as something he was far from

 

The dogs name is Alcedos Black star , my boy bought him in '05 ,but I looked the ped up and it was updated in '12 by Bhk and now he's a 1xw, lol!!!! Now I'm curious!
I seen this dog with my own two eyes and he wasn't worth a dime bag.

He is long gone. The man I spoke with told me they were tight hounds bred down off Orca. But the price tag was $$$$. Money isn't an issue for me, but he was talking $2,000-$4,000 for a pup, which I felt was crazy. I was really more so interested in something like CH Cocho, he was a beautiful specimen. I have always had AST's as I am sure you all can see in my profile pic. Just looking into a more sporting dog. Any other options out there ? Love the steel heart kennels dogs, they are beautiful animals. Something I can take to a show with my daughter. If you were in the position to spend a serious amount of money on a pup what would you buy and off who ?

 

for my money id go with southern kennels or tg if didn't think the prices were high. I have a buddy with pretty nice orca blood. Do some searching chances are you come out cheaper.

 

For $4,500 I figured I could get something a litte more desirable than a TG or SK dog...... no offense to those lines / camps / dogs / etc. I was very suprised to see that the dogs from Black Heart cost that much $$$. I want something off a titled dog. Weather the title came from a show or a race, I could care less. I'm not active in either lane, just love the dogs, and want something that I can show with my little one.

 

Let's put it this way...... Im looking for a dog thats ALL SHOW - I dont need the go-part. And just to clear the air before the cyber doggers around here start chirping like little bitches and this turns into an argument. TG and SK are big names that we all can continue to learn from, they have done more than myself and many others could dream of. I'm just looking for something else. Love me a beautiful black dog. Constantines Sparta didnt last long but he was a looker for sure.......

Hell if you want that blood pony up and buy the pup. However if your only goal it to show the dog and your pup tp be from tittle dogs. you could save yourself some big bucks if you seek out confo kennals. there was a thread about most points confo dogs and folks talking about some lady with the most points on her hrch dog that got more points then boogiman blood ch dog.

Who out there has got top notch confirmation dogs that are for sale to the public ? If you could spend ANY amount of money on one who would it be off ? Can anyone point me in the right direction ?

 

If you want conformation dogs ,just do yourself a favor and order the gazette from the ADBA..it has all kinds of ads from good to great conformation litters on the ground or about to drop. It is just as hard to get a pup from a good conformation kennel as it is from a good working kennel..These folks work hard and put tons of time and money into their pups and most don't want to let any go to someone that isn't gonna work or show the pups and keep their hard work alive ..I think your best shot is ordering the gazette then you can see the dogs for yourself and make your own mind up of what YOU like..good luck. take care and happy Halloween to your and your family.

Is there an issue bamaman ? Am I not allowed to own ST's, APBT's , etc. because I am financially well off........ I worked just as hard or harder than anyone else on this forum to get to where I am in life. If I want to purchase a dog to take to shows with my daughter, and make her happy bc she lost her's to cancer recently is there something wrong with that ? If anything, people who have what Im looking for should take advantage of my situation. Lot's of money and looking for a nice hound as an xmas present, and I could care less what it cost me because seeing my family happy is priceless. I have made myself and my desires present, if someone wants to lend a helping hand thankyou for it. If not, go back to your trailer park life.
