ah damn and there i was thinkin i was bein pretty original:0 i originally was going to get like a yin yang tattoo cos i like the idea of it and wat it represents but hadnt seen anything i liked at all so decided to think out of the box and thought what animal better represents the hard and soft? but since i only had my first dog over a year i wouldnt get a portrait of her(tho i will someday) its a very simple tattoo but im happy with it and intend to surround it with either chinese writing or a tribal/celtic design

Look for a good portrait artist online and travel there and get the tat, dont settle for less its your body. Never go local just because its there....

and as far as it being a outline.
i have MANY dogs that i would have to choose from to have a portrait and everyone of them did somthing amazing to me. so it would be hard. so i got this on my ribcage because its a very painful area to tatto. and i did the outline for the simple fact that it is simple. and too me these dogs are simple. they are eisier then people for me i understand them and they understand me. which makes them simple and too me thats my tribute too all of my dogs. a very simple tribute to a complicated relationship....
