Just got the 40th anniversary edition of the Gazette, and there's a section near the back with pictures
of people's Pit tattoos. When i opened this tread I too thought it was about tattooing an animal, not a person.
It's very common to tattoo Sporting dogs for Shutz Comps. An ID # is tatted on the inner thigh. My GSD's had them

I've been wanting a picture of her done but I don't have much confidence in anyone here doing a portrait. So many things could go wrong and I'd have to look at the little mongalod for the rest of my life on my front lower arm. Lmao. I've had a picture for years I've wanted done of her standing over a bitch when she was maybe 6 or 7. Problem was, the bitch was black so no one really wanted to touch it since you can't see any detail in the dog. When I took that picture that is tattooed on me, It was perfect, just what I was looking for to add to my almost complete sleeve. Mostly done by the artist who did that portrait. Just need one more piece to the puzzle and the chain linking to pull everything together and I'll finally be done with the whole thing. Well, your never really done once you start getting them lol.

He did a anarchy symbol that looks carved into my elbow that's pretty wicked. That was the first one he did. I liked it so I let him do the rest if the sleeve. Been doing 4 hours every other Saturday for like 3 months now. Be done in maybe 2 more sessions.
