Mine ended the end of December. I was waiting to see how the new owner was going to run the board. I just wanted to drop in once in awhile to see if It was worth it anymore .

 

I just logged out and back in an the only thing that came up was to pay $30.00 for 1 year and $50.00 for 2 years. I believe Jack new that he was going to sale awhile ago. I think that's why he didn't have any specials this past Christmas

I am all about privacy first and foremost! Are either you or treez paying members?

If you are a non-paying registered member why should you be able to log in and see whats going on in a private forum just because you signed up? The next step is to pay for your membership isn't that why you would have registered in the first place?

3900 people registered for whatever reason with a small fraction of those actually being paying members and Jack left the board wide open for everyone and anyone to view the contents. I closed the door to the public and registered members to maintain my customers privacy.

Most dogmen I know are private characters and do not want there business wide open for the public to see. My question was who are those people that were browsing and reaping all if the benefits of paying members without actually paying for anything? And more importantly what were they looking at? hmmm

The pedigree links are public and you can google pedigrees to view them or view links members send to you. I set it like that so our members can send links to people they may have business with.

If you have went through all of the trouble to just register, it is not that much of a hassle to pay $30 to subscribe to the exclusive content our website has to offer, otherwise we are closed to the public

I am not banning anyone. As a matter of fact I reinstated several previously banned members which has already brought some good discussions back to the community!

 

Well if no one can see anything without paying how would one know if it's worth the 30 bucks? I had a free account and went on maybe 4 times in a year.

@Trees I will clarify for you!

Peds online links are not allowed, it will get modded but people will not get banned.

What I was saying about unregistered vs registered (non-paying) members is they are basically the same. Therefore if you are unregistered you will have no access and if you are a registered member (you are still technically a non-paid member) and will not have access either.

Prior to the change just being a registered member (non paid) you could log in and share your peds and read and see content only paid members should have access to, now you cannot and you will have to log out to view peds or log in and complete the registration process like all of the paid members have done.

Yeah you know get em interested then charge to some people the potential of being banned seems high

 

like I said before my customers privacy is first and foremost. I'm not going to open the door to just anyone. There is just too much that can potentially go wrong with that.

I'm not into taking people's money either. I can't speak on what the next man did or the reasoning behind it.

All I can say is ask the people I reinstated what it is. Your either gonna get on the team or sit on the sideline.
