yeah that dog wootnes was a great looking dog. i was standing right next to her with my little black puppy. what great show and tremendous ppl

 

What type of showing are these dogs doing? What is it called? I know the weightpulling, but im not familiar with the other technique. What is the intent on this type of show? What do the judges look for rather?:confused:

 

You are not familiar with conformation!!! They even do it with UKC dogs :rolleyes:

Quick question. I've seen it mentioned a few times lately about Judge's Choice M & F, or placements in Judge's Choice. In the JC classes I've shown in, there is always one big trophy and that's it. Winner take all, no 2nd or 3rd place. (At least from what I've noticed.) When did they start giving placements in JC, or is that the individual club's call?

 

Judges choice is a fun class.No points are involved,nor is it sanctioned.Fun classes are each clubs choice how they want to do them. With our club,we do Judges Choice M & F..just 1 big trophy for each class winner. Also we split the Junior handlers into 2 different classes...winner in each age group gets a trophy,but every child gets a smaller cup trophy. Hope this helps!

 

Ohhh, that's cool. Thanks, Sips. Now I'm going to have to feel jipped that our club only does one trophy. LOL! Meh, guess I'll survive.

It depends on the standard you are using to judge them.:cool:

 

ADBA shows looks fun and the people seem nice and the dogs are amazing. I would love to get involved with my dogs.

 

I like both the Amstaff and the APBT.

 

anyone out there going to the show in NC on the 1st. I'm just looking for some folks to talk and learn from since I just started showing my dogs. I put one pup in the Nationals in Jersey and took first in 4-6 mnth males. I'm going to be traveling all the way from PA with my 6 year old son and 2 buddies and three dogs.

 

Anyone know how this dog is bred?

 

Check with bulldog143. I think they may know each other.

 

That dog belongs to sipacola. If I'm not mistaken he's Tombstone/Bolio. You should check with her though to make sure.
