Hey Brother...here's a couple I snapped of Dixie today. She's doin' good, we'll probably test her on a hog next month. Plan on putting her in the woods in February.

Hey Brother she is looking good. The rest of her littermates are doing great too. Robi has been in on a take down of a deer and in on one cat hunt. I keep him to the rear on that one. Run in on a mean ass male bob cat. Attila was in too he was bad eager to tag that cat but Night Shade, Gretchen and Count took that thing down and the rest is history. No one got cut up on it. they hit hard and fast. One less monster to get the chickens and sheep. Robi is going to be one bad ass dog and so is Attila. I am sure Eva Belle turn out just as good. I didn't take her out this time.

Don't worry Miss Conduct BamaBoy knows what he is doing. They use various sized pigs to start them on. Like training coon dogs.

She's six months old and weighin' in at about 36 pounds...still a ball of fire and ready to go!

 

Dont test her on a hog at 7 months old your going to ruin a good puppy. Be careful what you do.

 

No worries...we start them out on small ones like these

Hey, good luck with your dog. I know from previous post that BamaBoy knows as much about hog hunting as just about anyone. Please post more pics from time to time.

speaking of hog hunding I want to bring princess down for a hunt during my shutdown at work december 23rd to january 15th anytime during that would be great to do a hunt

 

Hey Roger, the weekend of Jan 13 and 14 would be good if you want to make a road trip to South Texas. It's the first weekend after deer season closes and we'll be in the woods.

 

only problem is with that I would have to be back at work on the 15th but I can put in some flex days for some more time off. I think I can work with that but princess has never seen a hog but her gameness is sure improving.

 

We can introduce her to them...just let me know. William should be coming down in the Spring as well...if you want to wait and hook up with him...
