Needhams Hannible...a white headed dog???...,im writing from memory,but i think its in the world of the american pit bull terrier..the grey book with the red nose in the top corner.and a brindle or black below in a spring pole.

 

Very much so...same markings and colour.same shape and head shape.

Don't know why I wrote Rhino, correct name probably was Reno (?). Don't know exactly how he was bred and so can't find his ped.

 

the topper dog quit against trahans country boy after he had won a bunch, i think it lasted less than 30 minutes.

He is a very unique dog. On that old copy and with the color of the dog it's hard to see ... but his body is something special.
Heavy Dibo x Colby. Was surprised to see NO Dibo inbreeding. Lots of the Bounce x Bambi blood was used.
I said I don't use dogs with inbred Dibo for myself, but this is so more true with inbred Bambi dogs as she is most probably the dog in question. Cold or cur ?
Hannibal was a very well bred dog. Mainly tight and loose line breeding. His ped clearly shows a good worthy breeding system.
And he was bred to some very well bred bitches. Anybody still working with some tight Greenwood stuff ? I hope so.

a lot of the smith /walton/williams/pyatt dogs go back to hannibal, he was grand sire to ch bad billy
