This female was around for a while, very game and good producer, came from Rustler along with Viking's Connie 1xw when CH.Lola was still a pup on his yard.. Saw a few Limey dogs and crosses over the years, good dogs, not the Holy Grail a lot of bulldogs some made them out to be, but decent dogs none-the-less.

When I first started reading about the dogs Ch Alligator was a favorite, if not my favorite. Reading those stories made him sound like a dragon to me at that time! Then I got older, got more experienced with my own dogs and guys around me. Looking back at those stories and what I had seen with my own 2 eyes I made my own decisions. I would guess Alli was an above average biting, big, game dog. Decent, better than average, but not once in a lifetime performance. A nice big dog. That being said I would still like to try some for my own

My first show was into Limey Kennels Kelly 1xw around 1987, still believe I had better dog but soon realised I was out of my league in all ways, picked up game in 1.17 and went home to learn how to condition a dog properly.. Anyone who saw the video of Limey's CH.Smuggler v's McCoy would have an indication of how Nelis x Tug ROM litter won titles, then quit later against better competition.. I never believed CH. Smuggler was PTS coz he bit a child, but that's only my opinion.. In contrast, I can state that I lost against Northern Lad's Gully 2xw who I considered a good female and Gully lost v's Limey's Prudence.. CH. Alligator lost game against Farmer Boy's & STB's Rebel Yell, but it's fact the Farmer Boy's owned two 55lb males at that time, held the better dog (Ben Ryan) back to match against Junkyard Boy's Bill and sent Rebel Yell to STB.. I saw CH.Neilson on EEK's yard, got to see some of his offspring and they was good game dogs, I owned a triple bred Nelis 2xw and as good a bulldog as anyone could ask for, lost into CH.Boon.. Limey's Smokey was a 55lb male who defeated CH.Sinbad in New York State, then stopped v's the 50lb (hog fat) Scotsman's Max on a hot day in England and so on... You only need to look at the blood that's behind the Limey dogs to know they got to be worth a go.. The Limey's in their prime were a force anywhere in the EU.. Other camps done well with that blood too.. Rustler, Springview, College Boys, East End Kennels, ACDC and Pera just some I know about.

 

Those are adult prices. I would almost NEVER pay that much for a pup... I wanna try one without spending enough for several pups. I was offered to purchase a pup from Europe at 1100euro.. There is a reason I have never got one... Thanks tho

I did ask Limey on here in the past. Not sure if it was before I forgot my password on my old username.
I had enquired because there was a son of Magic and Candy in Southern Africa. Was trying to get info on the dogs behind him. But Limey never was forthcoming with her show record.
