dont be so sensitive, whinging about something like that to start off with is just weak. and if you seriously dont want to read it dont. its up to you. in the short time i have been here i have read that many stupid questions and seen many people trying to bait others straight off dont be surprised if people are uptight, just leave and go to a bully site or just ignore it.

its totally up to you to decide what gets under your skin buddy and if your that soft
    its just bad luck.
man up and fire some back, alot of the time its just banter anyways.

or you could take you superior methodoligies and teach us all a lesson in how to react like the pure gentleman you are.

frankie boy i was waiting for that:p

you and i are a perfect example , i give you plenty of shit , you give it back
but neither of us goes off and starts a thread crying about its not fair please be nicer.

but BSK i will say this , i have never ever written a newcomer off in a thread, and if i have it would have been justified. plain and simple but read around, 99% of writeoffs happen to people who come on and ask for info about a problem they are having and its their own fault, they didnt do the research they should have to start off with, and yeah we could give them a break but sometimes people need to hear the true way of their errors to realy know what they are dealing with, owning a true game bred dog is not for everyone and it is taken too lightly among alot of people.

hey JYD you are repeating things that i said earlier in this thread and i didnt know that being respectful of others was such superior methodology figured thats how normal folks act

And by the way i made myself a grilled cheese sandwich and got beer (i'm not one who likes wine)but thanks for the suggestion

yes frank they should read your bloody thread.

BSK, respect has to be earned.

i have a very strong opinion about people that go out and want a bad assed pitbull so they get some r/e bully or a blue gotti dog and then wonders why their dog cant breath has grown up to be ugly or is a straight up cur, which is what they are curs.

and people need to be told sometimes its that simple.
i had to earn my respect to even set foot in my mentors yard he didnt just let me in, and then i helped look after the dogs clean up their shit, feed em, condition them and when i got my first dog i had earned it along with respect.
and i didnt end up with a short arsed blue pig that eats and shits more than most horses and i didnt pay a stupid amount for it, it was given to me.
like i said you have to earn respect.

thanks oldtimer took the words rt. out of my mouth, although there is some well known folks peddlin there are more that wont sell any.they keep them all. mabee give one away here and there if they trust that you will do the dog rite.this is the way I am, and most of the folks I deal with are the same.not all dog men are lokin to make a buck, some are in it for the love of the ....lets say dogs!!!! I mostly blow off the stupid things I read here but I will give advice when a person comes off as a newbe that just wants to learn about this breed.its when a guy that asks (hey i have a 13mo.old pit and need advise on who I should take her to 4 stud as she's comin into heat soon)that's the kind of statement that burns my a=s!!!

  13. That's what I am talking about! People just love drama. People will always love to talk trash about other people. Arise the internet where EVERYONE get's a voice. (Even though everyone doesn't deserve one). For some reason people think yelling, cursing and insulting people is the way to get them to change their ways.
Nope it's education, trust and friendship. I could give a shit less what most people think but I tell you what if Greg Mealer told me I was fucking up I would stop what I was doing. Why you might ask? Because I respect him as a good dog man. That respect is what would cause me to pay attention to what he has to say. Not some yelling, spitting, spay and neuter extremest, tree hugger.

I got my first byb dog 10 years ago. Loved the drive but didn't know what I had or how to keep him. He got put down cause I let him run loose and he got a neighbors cat. 8 years later I decided I wanted another bulldog but didn't know my a$$ from a hole in the ground. I'm embarrassed to admit I wanted the bully but thought they were game but bigger and bigger was better so I started lookin around and doin homework. Now my wife and friends think I need a 12 step program cause it's like an addiction and I can't learn enough. One day I stumbled across a bashing session on this forum that changed my outlook forever. Now I know the difference and I have 2 REAL bulldog pups on my yard with good odds of getting the drive I was really lookin for all along. If it weren't for passionate strong oppinionated bashers a could have ended up with a blue bully pig. So even though at times it's offensive, check your feelings at the door cause those who really love the dogs will take it as a lesson.

This is actually a good thread.... let the softies know its not that we are against them its just that we are FOR the dogs. and some are not very tactful thats all. nothing personal.

Any flaming that I would receive on this site only makes me hungrier to learn more with or withou yall I will succeed. I do agree that people should search first instead of being lazy bastards

Everybody is a beginner once.Meeting people in person is different then meeting people on line.I started with the dogs in the early 80's.I was lucky to get to know some good dogmen. But I had to prove myself first.Times are different. The net has changed things for ever. The dogmen of today have to keep things closer to the vest.Thats the way it should be.The ones that are into the dogs for something to do will eventually move on to something else.If you spend all the time and money to learn about these dogs then just post all of it on the net for all to read without knowing the person or their motives .You are a fool and could lose everything you worked for.An old saying saying nothing comes easy.

Good post rrd. part of the problem this breed is facing IMO is that people want the easy and lazy way out. so they get the dog BEFORE the research, then, because their dog is either not hot yet or hasn't had the opportunity to SHOW IT. they decide their dog is different and the learning goes out the window and they do what they want anyway.perfect example is all these questions about breeding. and silly threads about a bulldog vs. a wolf. just crazy shit.
