Panhandlers with dogs

Discussion in 'Chit Chat' started by F.D., Aug 11, 2012.

  1. Not saying they are going to make 7k a month but there are hustles out there that can put money in the pocket. Don't think that everyone on the street is a panhandler.

i live in san bernardino. southern california. been here 2 years now. San bernardino has an extremely high homeless population. Besides the fact that there are feral dogs around here, there are homeless people with permanent camps set up in the wash, been there since before i moved in. not going anywhere either. ALL homeless are on drugs. I see lots of homeless street people with dogs, many of them apbt or apbt crosses as thats the most common dogs you come across as strays, in shelters, etc. IMO i think the dogs live a pretty good dog life with their homeless owners, get to be outside 24/7, with their owner 24/7, etc. Dogs dont mind scavenging through trash, so on and so forth. I know that alot of them have the dogs for protection, guard their camps while they are gone or just to protect them from the other drug addicts on the street. Those people are living by a different set of rules, they are in their own little world/culture going on.

That's because majority of these people are damn lazy. I've regularly see this guy by the freeway ramp with his girlfriend on the opposite side better dressed than myself and probably collecting some sort of aid on top of that. I have so much more respect for the illegals at home depot or on the highway selling oranges trying to make a dollar. At least make a clever sign other than "homeless please help" FFS! Not to say that there aren't any legitimate people out there in need of help but those are few in between.
