Out of curiosity

I'm new to bloodlines and was wondering (out of PURE curiosity) if there are any particular lines that would be considered a little more "low-key" than some of the others. I don't mean fatties or couch potatoes, either. I've heard there are some ines that are known for having exceptionally high energy. Also, in your opinions, what whould a few of the smarter lines be? Like I said-no special reason, just trying to gain some knowledge!

 

ive posted that the turtlebuster im working with will do anything to make you happy currently the one im training will do a number of things , including stuff shes picked up on her own.. but she will turn on and off my sisters asthma treatment machine,, wait for cat to eat before chasing it back out to where we want it to be cuz its a mean cat and we got kids..... and wait for food to cool if i tell her its hot wait a minute ..she will walk off till i tell her its cool now.. she love sissy when i tell her to..means kiss her sister and would care of the bigdog when without being asked.. when told to go get the senile dog from being lost in yard she will go get her and lead her back indoors.. and most important ....get the mouse!! she will chase catch and take it outside!! this is the girl in traing now for search and rescue ..other two lil ones are not ready but she will go and check the weeeones(pups) when asked and will sit quietly outside the pen area and watch over them as we have had trouble with stolen pups before my beloved prophecy came to make things easier for me.. gotta love that dog!!

 

bloodlines r made up of dogs in the lines each line has different qualitys that they breed for and to keep a certain look in some cases but none r like high or low energyed dogs but they do have lines that were like more prone to biting

 

r u saying that ur dogs r smarter than the rest? dont u breed mini pits? they're no smarter than any other dog that can be trained so how is that a trait of the line?

 

OK guys, no fighting LOL. I don't think he's saying his dogs are neccessarily smarter than any others, just that his turned out to be smart. I realize that there are different dogs in a line and they're not all the same, what I'm asking is about lines that tend to produce smarter dogs. I have heard that some lines produce an unproportional amount of "stubborn" dogs. If there are lines that are more prone to biting, then there can also be lines more prone to having brains! It's all in who you breed. If you keep a bunch of dumb dogs in a line then chances are some of the digs down the line will share that characteristic. Am I not correct? If not, then what would be the point of line breeding? Intelligence is an inherited trait just like any other.

 

the only way stupidness could be passed down is if u breed bad bred in-bred dogs if u can understand that u know there r certain ways in breeding is bad and ways its good depends on wat u do i dont think that that is something passed down its a healthy trait any healthy dog can learn if u teachem

yes mine are smart, and good trainers is key, but somethings they

learn on their own , youd be suprised what i can get the dogs to do

i mean look at service animals, open close doors , pick up things , even

get things that fall under water, never know what a dog will do, mine

will take do alot of stuff, lost most of my helper dogs to old age, but

they would get the laundry and clean up after the kids and pick up trash

from the yard.. I TRAIN animals of all kinds to do things , not like the movies

but pretty close and,, i have found this line to work for the love of their human

i have had other breeds to have alot of brains but this is what i have now

and yes virginia , you can breed for brains.. same as aggressivness.. my opinion
