opinions welcome

so im making a cross country trip to reclaim a girl, and i want to check out some dogs while im at it. now part of me says this isnt a good idea and proves to her i havent changed but the other part says she knows me and im just trying to kill two birds with one stone. should i keep this trip about her alone?

go look at the dogs before you get her ..

 

we were together for 7 years.i was an ass, and i left. she has been engaged for the past 4 years but she has now finally agreed to give me another chance. im going to florida to get her. she likes the dogs though and i know i should make this only about her but i just see this as a wasted opportunity. oh and the reason we were not getting along before i left was because of the dogs, i put them first etc.

 

you should really make the trip about her and her only if the dogs was the reason last time. That said you give her an inch and shell take a mile? does she expect you to give up the dogs?

I would go and make the trip all about her and hopefully get laid...after id bring up the the dog idea and see how she reacts

 

she doesnt expect me to give them up and even said something about me getting one down there, but that was before she i told her how i felt. i dont know... i didnt really expect for this to happen. i guess ill judge the situation when i get there.

 

If the dogs were the reason for yall not getting along in the first place it might be a bad idea to go see dogs jmo...

 

i reallly shouldnt blame dogs for my relationship issues but theyve been the demise of 2 serious relationships. i know its me but they use the dogs as an excuse, but they stay, you go. i need to treat women the way i treat the dogs, they get say i treat them better.

 

u might jus need to show her that shes more important to u than the dogs are...

Which one are you the most happy with?

 

that depends on a few things and is comletely situational, but she is what i want and is the best for me. i wont find anyone like her, i know she will stay by my side. i just have to show her i can treat her right this time, im asking alot from her, i should make some sacrifices as well.

 

I like to use this method, place your dog and your woman in the trunk of your car and walk away for a day, when you come back and open up the trunk, which one is happy to see you, thats the keeper.......

 

I am sure you were asking the men this question, but from a ladies point of view ( and a dedicated dogwoman), I might advise you that probably not much has changed her way of thinking.
If she thought you put the dogs first, then she will be looking for some small change that you won't do that again.
If at all possible try to make this trip just about the lady if you really want her back. Talk to her and casually mention that you would like to go see these dogs and would she mind going with you? Judge her answer and go with your gut.
She will either be in the dogs with you working hard or she will just be in the way.

since i know where you are coming from ... i would just stick with picking up your girl... it sounds like you have really been working hard to get her backand she is giving you a chance ... It also seems like a big mistake that you mistreated her so dont fuk it up if you think she is the one for ya... now if it was just the run of themill girl i would say do whatever makes ya happier.... yoiu already have your dogs , get the girl ..

I think it is more about you deciding what you want and what you are willing to do to get it.Iam a firm believer we only get to ride this wave once and you need to make the best of it.
