It seems these days the head has become more exagerated on the bull terriers than it was twenty years or so ago :mad:

 

Does anyone have some info on Ulster? Have read very little about him.

Prince looks a good example of a EBT, looked in great shape.

 

A private board, that i am not aware of....This is ludicrous and racist against ugly feckers.

Its quite alright. To be honest, without knowing the history of these fine animals its hard to commment on much else. Other then i thought most badger dogs were smaller but apparently i was far off.
Question though, the dogs that I meantioned that seem to run a leggier build, how would they have been tested against a badger. I mean clearly there not going into a sett and it doesnt seem like they would fit into a manufactured wood sett. So were they put against these guys in the open?

 

only the head? the majority here in US are completely deformed, but hey they meet the standard, and have eggshaped head and multiple ch's in their peds.

Now their proper 'strong' dogs.I read about the strain of 'Red hand of Ulster' dogs when reading about Stormer and Phsyco.Do you have anymore info,pics of this line?

 

Im sure blue wolf killed bruce in a kennel fight, i could be wrong as it was so long ago..........think im right though.

 

Artificial sett,if they want to get in they will-the object was to draw the badger out in under 6 minutes without making a sound.in natural setts id imagine the style of working would have been dictated by the type of sett -i.e size of tubes,type of soil,intelligence of dog/quarry(dug before?)

has anyone got any pics of a dog named brindle devil ? , ive read alot and heard alot about this dog but have never seen a pic. the dog and his owner william delaney is dead r.i.p. im not even sure if his family have a picture of this great dog so im probably pissin against the wind on this one

 

Ray Delaney, willie's nephew has a site. I think there might be pictures on there.
