Ol' Time Badger Dogs

Anyone familiar with Derry Macash's Rascal & The Great Bruce, two of the all time great Irish badger dogs (with more than 30 bager certificates between the two) ? I wonder is anyone still working with that blood over in the UK ? I know if you know the right people and look in the right places you will find solid "Geronimo" blood to this day.

 

some of the dogs ive bred had geronimo in their ped 8 times, didnt realise that until now as it wasnt geronimo i was thinking of when i bred them.

 

forgot to say that was with out any psycho blood, when bred to a psycho dog and then back to the flynn stuff he was in well over 20 times,.......not that that makes any odds just worked it out when i saw this thread and im starting to talk shit now so il be off :p!

 

If you dont mind me asking what were the other dogs, PM if you want

 

I'm familiar with a few of these dogs but not enough to be knowledgable, either way I would like to take a look at a pedigree from any of these dogs. Thanks

 

Good Geronimo blood is not as common as you may think but those that have it are keeping it as strong as they can. Sounds like you may have some good ones ...so I don't need to tell you about their quality:cool:.

Did you print out the picture "O'l Jim" posted?
Should be a few more cert's in that picture like, the Great Roger, Binglea Joker, Wolf Island Boy, Derrymacash Rascal, Battling Beauty, Battling Devil and Offset right?

yeah just saw some certs a few weeks back on a private board, think it was ol jim or anwl that put them up, it might have even been someone else, i didnt save them so cant even go looking back over them

I like the look bruce in addition to the ones mentioned by Blanco. These ones i meantioned seem tall, i thought smaller dogs were preferred for badger work?
