What you have to keep in mind is the terminology. "Bandog" or "Bandogge" was a term used for the "job" a couple of breeds did. It isn't a breed at all.
Molossers/Mastiffs/Cane Corsoes and X breeds of all three... where bred to be chained (banded) during the day, then let loose at night to roam large properties of wealthy land owners to discourage thieves, vandals, etc...

a dude in my area mixed a apbt and a neopolitan mastiff..and he works. I can remember if he calls it a bandog..but he's a good ass trainer and use to help the local police department train there dogs..how he explained a bandog to me was it was only the 1st litter was a bandog. And if the same 2 dogs were breed again they were just a mutt

I'm so glad I found this post. The APBT was the perfect dog physically then these fools go and breed bad/unhealthy physical traits into these animals. And I agree with the OP, they are all bandogs.

 

I'd take a bandog any day over a bully. A bully is basically a big overweight couch potatoe.

 

I've had bandogges for 8 years now all my dogs are game dog and neo and all my males have been truly dog aggressive and true athletes love them and if that mutts so are yours cuz ain't a pit a bull and terrier cross
