you can see if you look at the 2 Peds that Bud is bred differently than Bull so its a cross that complimented each other very well.Yes you see Bert s name behind Uncle Bud stuff but if you LOOK you can see those dogs are bred different than Berts stuff.

 

That's where it gets confusing because Berts name is behind both Families so it all looks like Sorrells bit its 2 diff families

Bull is Bud's great granddad. The main cross in them Sorrell's dogs I thought is in Red Jerry, the Crenshaw stuff.
Sorrell's is basically Corvino.
I know there was 2 of whatever ... 2 Berts or 2 Sorrells ... or ... but I cant remember right now. Can't get it together.
I can't see ! All them dogs in Bud's ped are bred by Sorrells or Bert Sorrells, except Bull who was bred by Koehler.

Feck this edit thing. Anyways, I couldn’t have bred her to Thai myself. Then again I’m biased as every Reid dog I ever owned and I had a few, put the brakes on. Most of mine now have Redboy somewhere in them

 

Sometimes ppl need to forget the name in front of a dog and read the pedigree. Every serious breeder I’ve looked at kept 2-3 different lines, to utilise with each other.

 

I’ll help you out. There was more than one Sorrells breeding Sorrells dogs. Her dogs were different than his....... that should help you a little. I’m sure you’ll search around and figure it out

 

I wanted to try some Sorrells stuff but I didn’t know the breeder good enough to pay what he was askin. Beautiful fawn/blonde dogs, built like the bulldog on 18 wheelers, in a good way 60/40 front end to back. They were from her dogs, don’t remember how they were bred

 

Some out there and they don't mind going with the flavor of the month.

 

I respect your opinion mate, we can't all like the same things, it be boring if we did.. Thai showed more Klogger/Black Max/Jacko traits, the races he had never went very long, but his offspring were 'proven' game dogs.. I'm a big fan of RB and RB/J, like them a lot and thanks for sharing
