i agree 100% LWG, Glocks are the sh*t! best autos out there. buy a 9mm model, any one, (17 ,34, 19, or 26) snap in a Glock 18 33 rd mag, and youve got a serious amount of firepower thats as reliable as it gets. Glocks are the AKs of the handgun world. sand, dirt, it dont matter, they will fire everytime. done it

check it out tho, i heard they (dunno who lol) did a test on the semi auto pistols by running them over with a truck i know one was a glock the other was a smith & wesson (not sure what the others were) anyways the glock and the smith were the only two that didnt go off and passed the test. again i couldnt tell you where or who did this, but my dads cousin is a cop and he was tellin us about it.

 

ive got a glock .45 which i love, and a hi-point 9mm which is fun but doesnt compare

You know a pistol I have put thousands of rounds through and never had a problem with is my Smith & Wesson Sigma 40 caliber. I really like that gun quite a bit and it used to have a fair price tag on it.

A lot of folks have nothing but bad things to say about them and it is especially true when it comes to the trigger pull, But I never did find the trigger pull that bad and it is very easy to lighten if your so inclined and the gun has done nothing but good for me. If any of you guys are in the market for a good gun that is affordable from a reputable company I would always recommend this gun. It is almost word for word what the Glock pistol is minus a few minor things, And can save you about $250.00 in the process.

No not illegal but dangerous even in experienced hands.

When I was talking about lightning the trigger I wasn't meaning make it a hair trigger though.

 

I get trigger work done on pretty much all my 45's. only one i didnt get trigger work on is the ruger p345.

Glocks are good guns, i don't particularly care for 9mm but had a glock 34 that was a good gun. I don't know, im just a 1911 kind of guy. Some people like to say Glocks are guns you take to work, 1911's are guns you show your friends lol but a good 1911 is just as reliable if you put work into it. If you want a gun that is ready to go fresh out the box then a glock is good for it.

Can't beat a good 1911 pistol, Just look at the track record and the current people that use them as their standard issue.

 

Yeah the 1911 is a good Pistol, I also like the Beretta 92FS good Pistol as well. I own a Sig P230 .380 Semi-Auto same as the new P232.

i ll never figure out why folks say this. the 9 has been killing folks for over 100 years now, and modern bullet performance has closed the gap between the 9 and the .45....not to mention the only gun you can shoot cheaper than a 9mm is a .22, and that means you can PRACTICE

 

I bought a Rock Island Armory 1911 (GI) a while back as something to tinker with. Replaced the recoil spring, trigger group and grip (hogue rugger ) PIC it turned out to be a nice piece. Too big to tote around but defiantly fun to shoot.
