Wish I'd been born in 85 :) If I learned anything, then it's probably that I should have stuck with the Staffordshire Bull Terriers, 'THEY'RE LESS TROUBLE!' :)

  8. Thanks for the reply old guy...if u would have stuck with staffords ..well think of it this way...YOU WOULD NEVER NO THE TRUTH! an believe me I actually wish I was round in your time,to see how it all began, and I believe their is very little left of some of them great old dogs what came to these shores.perhaps some one should right a book on the subject, for historical purposes of course.but any ways,if u were around in those days all you old timers right an article on the subject it would be a great insight...;););)

As far as catching competition goes it could compete with the best of them. The downside they were too small of a dog for this kind of work a dog between 25 and 33 lb on a hog that weigh 250 to 300 pounds. The hog would run all over the arena with the dog attached to the hog

Not in disagreement there. The ones I have seen were feedable. Badger dogs mostly.

  17. Were they any good at that?and would you pick one over a bul/grey?pm if u wish

When it was legal Hog Rallies. You had different classes one American Bulldog second-class Pitbull and the third class was open class let's say you had a chihuahua that could catch you can enter him in this class I have seen patterdales compete in this class
