New Pup-Need Your Opinion On Bloodline_

He did join in January, but just started posting the 15th of July. Maybe that's what he meant by "I just joined yesterday".

And Dude, you need to chill and sit back and read and learn. You have made a total ass of yourself in this thread. You come across as being very young or just dumb. Do some research on the bloodlines that you have asked about. Maybe then you will be able to engage in an intelligent conversation. A little knowledge goes a long way.

 

For anyone who wants to "learn from experienced dogmen." They don't want anything to do with your lying, self entitled feeling ass! If you want to learn ANYTHING from an experienced dogman then you need to go out and do your own research. Work hard to help the breed in some way.

Then, they will find you.

I cant even count on both hands the real long haul dogmen I have met/spoken to about this breed since starting to help the breed out. I didn't seek them out. Just the opposite. And, every single one was nice and willing to educate me and help me.

Why? Because my goal is the same as theirs. . to preserve the breed. And, I am not a lying SOB who wants to take the short way to learning.

Like I said before, dogmen tried to personify the traits they admired in their dogs. That being said, if you found one today that was in the game when it was legal, do you really think he would want to teach you everything he knows when he sees you are so lazy that you cannot even type the names of some bloodlines into google and do some historical research yourself?

Hard working men tend to not be too sympathetic to lazy young boys.

 

I think this whole post is BS along with GAME BRED 916's join date. It seems like the strangest people join a forum, then wait months, introduce themselves, and ask intrusive or strange questions. It seems to me that he still hasn't produced the names of this pups parents. Its a simple task and if he really wanted to know about his damn dog, he would've jumped at the offer. I was interested in seeing what the kid's pup has for ped but i think he's full of shit.
As for the 20+ year vets in the sport, there are plenty who have nothing to show of there 20+ years of dedication. You should be looking for information from anyone who seems to want to give advice. You can learn from every post good and bad information, but thats how you learn. There are some really good people here with tons of knowledge, in my opinion, there is no question that someone on this board won't have the answer to. If you just relax yourself and respond like you have some sort of education, there is still little hope left that people here will give you some real information about this unique breed. Think before you post, you will not find more unity on any other forum, then what you see here. So if you decide you want to bash a member on this forum be prepared for more doors to close in your face. That is not the way for a super green horn such as yourself to go in any postive direction.

what do you mean "when it was legal"? its not illegal out here to own dogs. i understand there are some "agencies?" (is that the word?) trying to bann these dogs im not sure what its like in the rest of the country but in cali its not really an "illegal" issue to own dogs. i can walk my dogs down the street (on leash of course) and not worry about getting harassed! i dont understand whats illegal about it unless you roll em or sumthin.

 

ok ok i just got off the phone with the guy that bred her he is going to send me the pedigree tonight but he gave me the parents name. he was unsure (from the top of his head and was not at home to review the paperwork) of the fathers full name he said they took two names out of the litter an combined them for his? (whatever that means") but here you go check em out.

mom: "wildsides niglet" or "Niglett", "niglette" (unsure of spelling, one of 3 posted)

father: "Polley's Stonewall" or Stone wall (try both ways unsure if its 1 or 2 words)

Obviously a dogman eats, sleeps, and breaths game dogs. Now, if you are only interested in talking to dogmen that are 50+ it is safe to say they were around when dog matching was legal. Since this was considered the ultimate test of gameness it is pretty safe to say any old school dogman you speak to would have been involved in matching when it was legal.

You claim your grandfather was a dogman and yet you don't even know what one is.....
