New Pup-Need Your Opinion On Bloodline_

so shes not really new but im new on here and i wanted to know what your thoughts are on her bloodlines. im familiar with a lot of the deep game bloodlines but not sure about what i got! maybe you can tell me what i have here as far as value.

as far as gameness,value of the dog, are those champion lines? (im pretty sure jeep has a lot of aces) but what im askin is do i got a dog that a lot of dogmen want? (cuz thats what i was told!) cant get the pedigree cuz i havent sent in the certificate yet

Wow. What exactly is this? If you have to ask about those bloodlines you have not got a clue...anyway can't really tell anything about how your dog is without a pedigree to look at just spouting off a few names is not going to tell us anything the dog in question could be bred down off of sub par dog's of that blood or could be very far removed, and all watered down. Even if you did have the papers where we could see them it's still only a six month old pup so far to young to tell if the dog will be worth a damn or not. While papers are a valuable tool, and give you insight of what the dog should be it won't tell you that the dog will for sure be this or that.You also said that you are very familiar with game lines, but you are asking questions about Jeep, and Nigerino blood? What exactly do you mean by the animals value? Monitarily? only as much as someone will pay for it. Best of luck with your dog though hope it works well for you.

 

Those lines are just like any other line, there are some good dogs and some bad dogs.

She is 6 months old don't worry about breeding her! Let her grow up and show you what she is before you breed her. It's shit like this that is ruining the dogs! Value of a dog is relative to what someone is willing to pay for it. You are a nail in the coffin of this breed, and need to be shown the door.

You are asking all of these questions but you have no idea about those dogs or the type of dogs they produce. All you care about is the value of the pups. Seems that you are only it for the $$$. Another BYB in my opinion.

 

ok i get what your sayin with letting her grow up, its not like i was trying to breed a 6 month old puppy. and never said i was VERY familiar but i am FAIRLY familiar with the lines, my grandfather was one of the most respected dogmen in my area about 15 years ago before he gave it up and then passed last year. i share the same interest but unfortunately im not as knowledgeable and i was interested in keeping his passion alive and starting my own kennel eventually and i was givin this dog by one of his old breeding partners and was wanting to know if this was the dog i should do it with, because i dont want to be breeding no bullsh*t dogs, i want my kennels to be looked at as top of the line & respected as his were.

If your grandfather was a respected dogman and the person you got the dog from was one of his breeding partners, then he should be very familiar with the breed. You should ask him any questions you might have.

sounds good but the guy lives a good hour away and just drops in, thats what i thought this site was for, educating myself on the breed & learning more! sounds like most of these people are just a bunch of tree huggers that want me to chop my dogs nutts off!

This breed consists of different bloodlines, So you can't be really familiar with the breed without knowledge of the bloodlines.
