It looks like the Pistons just signed Ben Gordon and Villanueva. They gave Gordon 55 mil over 5 years which is crazy for a guy who can get you 40 but give up 50 like Game 2 of the Boston series. As a Bulls fan I am glad to see him go. If he wasnt stalling the offense and turning the ball over with his constant over dribbling they wouldnt of needed him to make those shots in the 4th quarter. Whats everyone think of whats gone on so far this offseason?

Awesome pick B.G.? :D yea right. Joe Dumars must not be fully commited to rebuilding. Thats just patchwork. Just because BG was so clutch in the playoffs doesnt mean hes good for every team. Just my .02

You must be sick man how many games did you watch with him??? I am a huge Bulls fan and watch almost every game. Gordon is one of the best shooters in the game but the dude is like 5'11'' and is a shooting guard he doesn't have the handles or brain to even back up at the point. He hit some big shots for the Bulls but also let average and over the hill players look like all stars with his lack of defense. In the Boston series Ray Allen scored 50 on him then in the next series Allen was shut down by JJ Redick who is probably the second worst defender in the league.

Iverson was a patchwork experament. Tradeing the ageing Billups,Letting R.Wallace and possably Hamelton go, replaceing them with young talent (Gorden, Villanueva) and resigning There best young player (Prince) The man is Clearly commited to rebuilding. Us here in Mi. have witnessed this man take a bunch of throw away and suposedly low to no talent players into a NBA powerhouse. I Have faith in the man.

That's debatable he was a good player but i wouldn't call him a hall of famer plus he is old and not what he used to be the past 2 years he hasn't done much in the playoffs. He never did much until he was on a team with KG and Pierce.

Ray Allen is 34 and has 19,661 points I am pretty sure he is a hall of famer. You do agree that everyone on that list is right? Isnt he like the 1st or 2nd all time in 3 pointers too? He is a hall of famer and I dont like Boston.

His career averages are 20.9 pts, 3.8 ast, 4.4 reb and 2.3 TO.

Those are good numbers not great especially when he was never on a winning team until he was with Boston and then he was the third best player.

Look at Ben Gordons numbers 18.9 pts, 3.5 ast, 3.0 reb and 3 TO they are not that far off but not one person in their right mind would call BG a future hall of famer or even potential future H of F.

LOl I wouldnt go as far as calling BG a HOF but for what Detroit gave up to get both players. You know. Again we will take him in a heart beat, I like that Salmons guy for Chicago too he showed me something this year....

  13. myself stoped watching basketball a while back nothing better than the old days dr J, Abdul Jabbar, Magic,.. MJ. etc etc

His numbers and Ray Allens are pretty close though and you say Allen is a definite HOF???

I think it was a big mistake to give up Billups for AI and then parlaying that into BG. Ben will never be able to make his teamates better like Billups but they both are clutch and Charlie V he is a younger less talented version of Sheed they both only play when the feel like it. So the team got younger but less talented players thats not what you need to win in todays NBA.

I heard that. Ray Allen is no Reggie Miller. Id take Kevin Martin over Ray Allen anyday.

Reggie was tight. I'll give you that Reggie and Ray are the same player. I think that Ray has a little more offense and can take the ball to the hoop better than Reggie could. Both are were deadly from the arch. Kevin Martin???? Have you been drinking!!!!!LOL:D:eek::rolleyes:

Look at KMarts numbers compared to Ray Allen no comparison KMArt is far more efficient of a player, gets to the line more than ANY player in the league, better 3pt fg %, more of a slasher, a much more lethal offensive threat, and much younger.

Say what you want about Reggie he WILL be in the Hall Of Fame. He also could defend well he locked down MJ from time to time.
