My female gave birth and killed all her pups

This is just a thought, maybe some poeple on this forum think that there are to many APBTs being bred and killed at shelters.

well, RIP to all those pups.........maybe the momma accidentially suffocated them. They don't have any bite marks on them at all......

 

they are Eqine Fresh pine pellets. for bedding house down. you can get them at TSC. I like them, dust free, mold/bacteria reistant. SUPER absorbant and easy clean-up.

 

it looks like kitty litter...which to me is great because when the pups poop and pee, you would just scoop it out.......

 

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I could definatley do without all this sexual innuendo :p

Bigcespits-I had a female who tried to kill her pups. She would actually pick them up and squeeze them until they squeeled. The more you tried to interveen, the harder she would squeeze. 3 days after she gave birth, we took the pups. Thank Dog there were only 4 because I had some work on my hands. We decided to bottle feed and save them as opposed to letting her kill them. I gave the stud dog owner two, and I kept the other two. At 20 months, 3 of them are the best dogs you could ask for. The fourth was put down at 10 mths. Either way, whatever you decide to do with her the next time, be prepared to take the pups if needed. Make sure you have the necessary tools for hand-raising the pups and NEVER LEAVE THEM ALONE WITH THE MOTHER!!!!

well to much info..cooter...anyhow its mental..more like you took my last pups away and your not getting these...or the pups where sick and she killed them for that reason..

 

I am going to have to try those one day. Do you think they would be good for in my outdoor kennels with my adult dogs?
