Mitigating unwanted dog aggression...

    This pic makes me smile.

My two girls during a closely monitored introduction at the watering hole, after a little exercise and some obedience work. Tense at first, but soon diffused. Not a bad start.

The GSD has high prey drive and a history of violence toward other dogs, including big males. The young bulldog is confident and relaxed, watchful of the GSD, and eerily silent in comparison. Every indication of fine bulldog character. The GSD knows not what she could possibly get herself into in the future, but I do. And it's not inevitable.

Both affectionate and loyal family companion although these dogs are not for everyone.

I don't expect them to become friends, nor can they ever be left unsupervised. Is what it is, like the lioness and leopard.
