Do anybody agree when I say that it is hard to get 1 out of these dogs that are game. ( throwing a very low percentage of game bred dogs?)

  5. I have known Anthony for some time, been to place in Powderly on numerous occasions, and I still talk to Tony on a regular basis as he don't live very far at all from me.

The difference between his hounds and the rest mentiioned is the fact that he bred more towards the Butcher Boy blood and the rest bred more toward the Stompanato, Boomerang type blood. Tony told me that he aquired the majority of his dogs through M.T., L.G. And a few others in the circle. He did aquire 1 dog from P. Carver and that was the dog named Big Red. Anthony for the most part, didn't sale many dogs at all until after the sire of Banjo and BB Red (Sack) outright quit. Tony said he got rid of everything off of Sack because he quit and never dreamed he would produce as he did. And out of honesty, that's where it all happened for him, people started offering him unreal amounts of money for hounds due to the fame of greats such as Banjo etc., his family of workers has been on a down hill slide since the day he discovered folks would pay the prices he was offered. Or I will say with honesty that litters were no longer bred to the standards they once were. I am in no way trashing Tony as I consider him a friend, but, the truth is the truth! And I am in no way attempting to say that his family has not produced some good ones so no offense to anyone with my comments, just trying to shed some honesty about the hounds. All the best...Dan

Here's my girl with a li'l o' that mc cool's stuff in her. She may not be a tight Mc Cool's dog, but she is worth my while. Her littermate won against top competition in an impressive manner. Had I not been in dire straights, she would have proven herself in the box as well. She's turning seven this year. Have not bred her yet but when she comes to heat anytime now we plan to breed her to a Carver dog that has produced well with any bitch he was bred to.NR

hi neil, ninja is beautiful:) she is more of a jake dog in phenotype and must be a good in hunter as well like her brother budluck. Question for you neil is JFK's Trouble still alive? Im a really a big fan of Jake and vanna dogs back in the days im not that lucky to have one because most kennels in PI wont share this bloodline our of their yard.

  10. Jake died shortly after going against Ch PSK's Robot. He died game. Budluck was the only male in the litter. They were born weeks before the said match. So if my guess is correct, theirs is the last litter out of TPK's Trouble. Yup, NR is quite an athlete. I would have matched her a few years back if not for the personal stuff I to hurdle. She showed alot of heart and mouth on all her rolls. If you are familiar with RTK's DUBLER 1XW, I'd breed her to him soon. DUB produced winners, if not box quality dogs.

What about you sir, care to share what's on your yard?
