hello..what is your experience with Mccollum blood....hambone.....

I always wanted to know about his dogs...

 

Hambone is a legit dog from what I've heard.

 

Get on facebook he sells them by the dozen, not to take away from his dogs or accomplishments but selling dogs on the net loses my respect for a dogman quick. But to each their own.

 

Does he? I guess he figures the time and money he put in he should make a bit back, I dont know I am sure he dont just throw them to everyone, and I wonder how he is to sell pups if not the computer? I dont know how else a man should do it. the sdj is a computer thing. no more can you walk around with a rolled up coppy in your back pocket to show off your dogs. and I think that is how you talk now ,no one really takes trips and really puts the time in. LOL the worlds changed the dog world is not immune to the changes of the world. People want right now they have more choices then ever all in front of them and all people have to do is look up at the press of a button. If yall really seen the yards of the past the peddlers of today dont seem that big , The old yards were 100 to 300 dogs and had pups on the ground all the time. back then you took trips to see the dogs and people respected the man with 5 litters well kept on the ground all the time. and a hundred dogs, YOU were damn sure glad they had all them pups and young onea so the trip was worth it you could pick , now if a man that retired wants to have some pups he losses respect. This game is fucked up. You all should be happy ther is still some breeders willing to mess with the public, to be honest Public sucks.

Exactly what is wrong with the game. Got to make that money for what I spend a month or whatever, excuses for other short coming in life and these dogs. If these dogs didn't involve money it wouldn't be in state it is in. If these people didn't include the general public in their quest for fame or money, it would still be a gentlemen sport not a get paid scheme over ran by thugs, drug dealers, or soccer moms trying to save the breed. A retired man should't own these dogs or anyone period if they have no purpose for them personally to use for himself or the circle he is in, keeping dogs is one thing, peddling is another. If he is in it for the money choose another breed because there is never money in these dogs, if he is in it for the dogs make it about the dogs and the general public should never even remotely be a group of potential buyers. You may not like my view anymore than I like yours but the truth of it all, these dogs shouldn't offered to any Tom, Dick or Harry and that is exactly what is happening. If you think so feel free to explain to me why.

Greasy uses what he breeds and breeds what he uses. The dogs he has are far from peddled. They are probably unknown to most on this forum. He's been in it a long time and he has let a few pups go here or there but he doesn't even consider himself a "breeder" per se. I speak from knowledge first-hand. Not knowledge or assumptions gathered on the www.

 

How is saying this and this and this is for sell with a price, an assumption when I see it with my own two eyes? Thank you northdogger. I am not knocking the man's dogs nor his ability as a dogman and his ability to make money to provide for himself in a different way but I do believe these dogs shouldn't be advertised as a normal pit bull or pet animal especially if they are good as you say c-murda, those are dogs definitely you shouldn't be selling. Websites for dogs.....Ummmm......First handed knowledge might be blinding you c-murda by who he is.

 

Its plain and simple to me, to be competitive in the fast lane you have to spend more time with the dogs than if they were a hobby. The more time you spend with the dogs, then the less time for other things in life, and that includes work. Add in the breeding and waiting for pups to mature, then there is more cost and time. And looking back almost every dogman had a website in the 90's.
Most who even know about him advertising are his "friends" on facebook lol, maybe he should choose his facebook friends more carefully, and I'm sure GCK appreciates you posting his website for the people that arent on his facebook friends list to see.

 

Nice guy with some good dogs. Got a chance to meet him here in Tx a little while back, and shoot the shit with him for a bit.

Icepick- I'm sure it probably ain't that big of a deal it's a website, man, not a address, or s.s. number, lol....People make websites for them to be seen.

Ok So a man uses what he breed his whole life then he is just to let it die off or just give it away. I love you kinda of people, lol Dont try and tell me whare the game has went wrong the game has went wrong couse there is no respect for the people that paid there dues, yall want it yall want the best yall want it now and yall want it to come easy and you also want dogs that no one has LOL. if men that retire didnt sell a fw the dogs strain would die, No the problem is not money it is respect all the way around. And to be honest I dont think any one should have a game dog unless heis hunt ing it I think it is crule as hell to the dog not to hunt him so dont think you are scooling me on how it should Be , LOL but truth be told you should be happy he even sells to the public. Id tell them to drink bleach befor I would let everyone come see my yard just to see them talk shit on the net.

 

Either way it aint a big deal to me, lol. I've met him once at a show a few months back, and he seemed to be a pretty nice guy.

Both sides have good points. I don't really have an issue with selling dogs but you need to know who the dog is going to. Seelling to a fellow dog person and selling to anyone with money is a completely different thing. I do know he advertises on fb often for a fact but idk what requirements he has. Sure the dogs are top notch tho

 

I knew Randy back in the 80's .He bred his own,raised his own,and showed his own.Thats more them most and he was active back in the day and had some good dogs.He would give you a fair deal and to me thats all thats important.

 

i dont sell dogs and was never really into that but yea i agree with u j 100%..he put in time has decent stock (nothing i want no offense) and willing to see one to the public i have no issue with it vs the guy who just bought some pretty paper work and now trying to sell pups off pups lol
