Thanks guys, I feel better today than I have in a long time... I actually went out and did some work in the yard today I felt so good

Got my first smallest bill $13,102.40

Hope none of you every have to go through this

I'm sure before all is said and done I could pay cash for a house with what it cost for all this

 

Yeah Marty They sent one for my wife the other day it was 19,000 dollars. I sure hope insurance pick that one up because I know I cant...:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

 

If you don't have insurance, there should be someone there at the hospital whose job it is to hook you up with some resources that us mere mortals know nothing of that will pay a big chunk of those bills.

And never, ever, ever pay anything until you get it ITEMIZED. In detail.

Got another $16,000 bill today, just pray to God you never have to experience nothing like this :rolleyes:

I'm unemployed and have no way of paying this and when I do get a job there going to take all I make to get there money back :rolleyes:

Oh man that is alot. I'm sure things will work out. They usually do for good people.

 

Seriously, Marty, contact the hospital administration and find out who their person who handles getting people in your situation help with the bills is and get in front of them. Don't talk to them on the phone if you can avoid it. Talk to the person face to face. It's a lot more difficult to blow off a real live human being than a voice on the phone.

And remind them that bankruptcy is a helluva lot cheaper than a hospital bill and is cleared off of your credit a whole lot faster, too. There are ways to keep your home even in a bankruptcy. You just make sure you get a real attorney, not one of those hacks who advertises on TV.

 

Damn Marty It's hard the situation you going through im just getting back on my feet it wasnt a high amount like yours but keep you head up there has to be someone that could help. have you tried charity care or medicaid they could help

 

Well I have a problem with the way I was discharged, every hospital I've ever been to your ass was took out in a wheel chair, when I was released the bitch tore out my two IVs and left me bruised and made me walk to my ride, told Nancy you know your way out, if I'm lying I hope God strikes me died with a bolt of lighting, had a heart attack and had to walk out LMAO I didn't mind it because I was ready to get the fu** out of there after 5 days :rolleyes:

I was born there and damn sure wasent going to die there

 

dam marty i know that feeling for sure,,, that growning artery like to kill me for about a week, like a golf ball down there and turn purple for a week or two,, told me to get real skinny if i value my mortality, my wife and kids freaked of couarse, i told him from now on that conversation with me and only me, put me on liptor and that made me sick as a dog,,, i thought i was dieing all over again, they didnt even tell me it made some ppl sick like that,,
