Marine Corps BSL

    T here is an order being drafted as we speak that will ban all pitbull type dogs, rottweilers, and wolf hybrid breeds from all Marine Corps bases. All dogs already registered will have to be microchipped (good) and behavior tested(by who?). there will also be dog parks opening in many housing areas. (wonderful..not)

    Yes an order is in the works. If your dog(s) are on base as of now they will be grandfathered in but will have to be micro chipped and registered with the base. The base Game Warden or base Vet will be the ones to make the call if your dogs are well tempered. The only way around this is to draft a letter to the Base Commander for permission to bring you dog aboard, AND IT TAKES A LOT OF PROOF from a number of different people to get that signed off.
