Man charged with felony animal fighting

    The Mankato Free Press

MINNEAPOLIS — A 34-year-old Minneapolis man is accused of organizing a dog fighting ring and breeding dogs in at least eight locations.

Leroy Longs Jr. was charged Friday with felony animal fighting in Hennepin County.

According the criminal complaint, the animals had scarring “consistent with having been fought.” Eighteen dogs, including five puppies, were seized in raids.

A search warrant executed at the home of Long Jr.’s children revealed he had a 240-page book on how to become a successful dog fighter.

Longs is in the Hennepin County Jail with bail set at $15,000. His first court appearance is Monday.

A woman who answered the phone Saturday at a number listed to Longs in Minneapolis didn’t want to comment.

Its just a news media generalization that any specific APBT Breed Guide book will teach you how to become a successful dog fighter hahahahahahahahahahaha damn news media hype lol

Stratton's books are readily available to the general public and are in the mainstream, they are even in certain public and School Libraries.

I guess if you have a Diane Jessup book too you are a dog fighter? LMAO.

But regardless even the most hard core Pitbull book is not specifically pertained to just dog fighting history alone but more of a all around general information source pertaining to all aspects of that particular breed of dog like most specific breed guide books.

Your honor we have no witnesses testimonies , no videos or audios, no DNA evidence or any other dog training apparatuses BUT we do have this book right here LMAOROTF.

Not many people get off dog charges now. Not like before. I swear some cops care more about matching dogs than drugs. People say don't mix dogs and drugs. Ya, cus it will ruin your drug operation when they kick your door down for dogs!
