Looking for modern history of APBT

Anyone know where could I find some info about current best dogs? I am really getting interested in this breed and everyone keeps talking about the legends, and their blood. But maybe there are some info about good sporting apbts of today?

I am not into fighting dogs, but I love a lot of sports that can be done with this breed. I am thinking about getting another dog after a couple years, but can't find much information. Just trying to understand different traits of different bloodlines.

Info on current good sporting dogs wouldnt be history. History implies "the past".
Where ever you are there must be shows you could attend and they are a mine field of information. If in Europe , maybe you will gwt info on some current good sporting dogs from the old Eastern Block countries. Seems theres more info out there on current dogs. Check facebook as well for the brazen careless people that like putting out info on their and others doings for everyone to see what great dogmen thwy are.
But there shouldnt be any info in this History section on current dogs because thats just not history.

 

Thanks for the reply. I understand what you're saying, but I meant at least for the early 2000's. It could be considered modern history. As for the shows, I try to attend as many as I can. And I am beginning to see which ones are the best here in Eastern Europe. But the aim for this search is to be able to compare the current dogs to the ones from US or further in Europe (Spain etc.).
But as I understood from your reply, it's impossible to do online.

 

Going to be hard to get alot of info, I mean there are some people out there talking about current and recent dogs, but there's also alot that aren't. As far as the US in concerned anyway.

 

TBH your better off getting a patterdale or another working breed.

Some things are just better left unknown to the general masses.
