whered that Foles come outta...Arizona? id play him the rest of the season, looks like hes the future in Philly

  4. Yep Arizona. He started at Michigan State and then transferred after freshman year. I'd play him too. He couldn't do any worse no matter how he plays lol. Then at least you could see what you have in him. Might even spark some interest to play by some of the other players.

I wouldnt say he sucks, is he the best? I dont think anybody ever said that. We all know Vick strong points arent reading coverages and progressing thru his reads. Part his fault, even though i give him credit because he has came a long way and used to read one play and run and now he is trying but the OLine aint got time for that and their Rookie TE needs more time, Celek sucks and cant stretch shit. But you cant go thru 3-5 reads with O-Line breaking down. Also 1 WR always screens out and another runs a fly, so if they cover saftey over top like KC did it's nothing for him to do but let the RB run the ball until safety drops down and get some more routes. They have been lacking a true possession WR since, well TO. They have nobody they say here you go he will make a play on 3rd & 6 or be security blanket.

If I am Chip Kelly I am preparing 2 QB's every week. Equal snaps. Equal reps all week. The I am rolling out Michael Vick and letting him run all over the place and take advantage of all the things he can do and not worry about what he can't or where he struggles. When, and I say when he gets hurt, bring in the next guy. My point is not to harness him in a circle and allow his shortcomings to define him. Turn him loose. S

I hate what Vics retarted ass did to the dogs.....However his quality as an explosive athlete...just can't be argued....Everyone said he wouldent be able to perform after doing his time...thay were wrong...

  12. Puff puff pass Red, you're high! LOL If the way he's playing is what you consider "performing" I'd hate to see what you consider playing bad LOLOL

p.s. this is how u play vick...u put him behind a good offencive line and let him take chances and run wild at will. This lulls the secondary to sleep....Stop trying to make him a traditional quarterback.

  14. His glory days of running and making it happen are done and behind him. Now that he doesn't have that he doesn't have anything.

Without a good offensive line, your QB can only do so much. Vick should have read the blitz every time and if he's weak in that, they need to work with him. That falls directly on the coachs and staff.

Athletes have slumps...he may not be as explosive as he was in his prime...lost a step...but he could afford to loose a few steps...I think the man has years of good play left in him..hell he's proved resilient at the least...

Remember when Moss was washed up not worth a shit...an exceptional athlete is just that...

I don't think he is washed up. I think he is protected by the schemes because we as an NFL society have over-valued the QB position. Drew Bledsoe was to save all of New England and the northeast for that matter. He got hurt and some bum named Brady got the job. How did that work out? There was never going to be another Favre in Green Bay but the kid nobody wanted in the draft is doing a fair job, fair at best?

Roll Vick out there and let him do what he can until the wheels fall off and then move on. Crippling the team and the organization to protect and/or prolong the career of a QB is dumb. To run the offense that Chip Kelly wants to run the college game is chock full of those kids, damn near a dime a dozen. Let Vick contribute the only way he can, get your $$$ out of him and move on.

I would not sit around with him n hand cuffs and a ball and chain for his own protection, or the protection of the investment, ..."take off Mike"..S

Agreed..... Thay tryed to do the same thing in the NBA with Wade in Miami...Said he played to reckless and would have a short carrer....so thay tryed to rain him back....He damn near dissapierd as the special athlete we knew . He is just now getting back to his regular game...and with his natural style of play comeing back so is his explosive offence.. Its all good to try and teach the skills it takes to become a better all around player...but not every special athlete was ment to be well rounded some just need to be left alone to do what thay do better than anyone elts....Let Vick run and gun and live and die by it like the Packers did with Farve.

I watch Pro Ball but i dont have a favorite Pro team.I am more of a college football fan and when I saw a couple teams go to the spread in the SEC I kinda laughed .But I think if this can work in the SEC and it has been sucesfull both Florida and Auburn have won national titles ,I just think it will work in the Pro s.Id like to see some more of this in the NFL.It dam sure makes things more exciting.
