The proper spelling is Komosinski's. From what I've gathered browsing peds, Komosinski's Jack was Walter's foundation stud which he's used to create the "Komosinski" line. Jack appears to me to be heavy Armitage/Lightner/Colby cross.

From this pedigree you will find that everything carrying the Komosinski name all leds back to Komosinski's Jack.

Mr Kominiski's dogs were well known for several reasons: 1. They were consistenly deep game dogs 2. There were just about all mostly white. 3. Most of them looked like they had some bull terrier blood in them (ironically his next door neighbor breed white bull terriers and him and Mr. Kominiski traded pups with him from time to time!). Mr Kominiski took great care of a large amount of dogs. When he was old and quickly becoming ill he had all his dogs euthanized! He did not feel anyone would or could take as good of care of them as he did. Mr. Kominiski had a partner in the dogs that aslo bred the same line....I forgot his name though :( I am no expert on him his dogs or any dogs for that matter but I hope that helps!!

    grove,

That was a great article you posted about kominski! much appreciated :)
I love old articles like that one. Any real info. on a great dogman of old is awesome. I've read some good stuff on kominski in several books but had not seen that tribute. There is a cool little story on a kominski dog in G. hammonds book. Super game little dog. His Kominski dog was two dogs long and one tall. I feel like i've heard that about a number of his dogs.......any additional info on this line would be super appreciated:)
I know Mr. Komonski had his dogs put down but are there any good lines out there with much substantial amounts of komonski blood in it. Mr. hammonds dog died before he got to use it in his breeding program. I bet she would have been a good addition! (although i like all good dogs........I thought kominskis dogs had a cool unique look to them. I guesse I kinda like the white.)

Did have apbt/ebt x dogs, agree with the above post in that they were deep game, bred based on ability. He did have his entire yard euthanized when he became ill, I believe he asked his wife to finalize his wishes & she did. Betts also had the same x, I’d have to dig to see if there’s any connection but haven’t seen anything as of yet. The Rocca dogs have Komosinski lines in them. Komosinski & Betts are mentioned I believe in Armitage’s book.
