Ken Allen's Dbl Gr Ch Tornado

Both have past away. The late Greg Donnel and Ken Allen with Dl. Gr. Ch. Tornado:

 

Mike,here it is again.If u look what I said Tornado won her Gr.Ch. against Chicago Ken said she was open to the world. MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE PUT THE COMA IN THERE. Now for Greg well I was friends with one of the Yankee Boys Ted.I learned a lot from him.At the time of the show in 87 Greg couldn't attend ,his wife was due anytime and he couldn't leave her.Greg was a peramedic that is why he was so good with after care.Ken had a bunch of guys taking care of his dogs.Ben B. handled Virgilson against the Chicago Combine at the show

 

I was at one of the Yankee Boys place when Greg and Paula came out with Gr.Ch.Rambo right after they bought him for a breeding program.That was one hell of a dog.Greg was real proud of their investment.

 

I knew Ted, we talked about a couple of favor dogs, Mammy & Blondy Sue.

No Greg was not. Greg was a Fire Fighter where he got hurt on the job and had to take a retirement.
This is why the name of the kennel was "Steelfire Kennels"
Greg was the fire fighter, S.B. was the steel worker.

That wasn't Yankee Boys Kennels. It wasn't where he lived. That was Pit Weight Kennels of Staten Island. This is where Rambo was kept with Boudreaux' Missy.

 

What the hell.Like I said I was at Yankee boys place when Greg and Paula came over with Rambo(I'm not going to sit here and say exactly where we was at).You wasn't there and I was . Greg and Paula brought Rambo over so everyone could see him. Greg was friends with Ted and Eddie.I was friends with Ted and Eddie .I met Greg a few times at different Yankee Boys events.I know Greg was close with Ted and Eddie for awhile.I never said the Yankee Boys owned Rambo.I said Greg and Paula brought him over.I think thats straight forward as it gets Mike.They was just bringing Rambo over because they was proud of what they bought.He was an amazing dog.

 

Ok, fine.
But when Greg was owner in Pit Weight Kennels it had nothing to do the Yankee Boys.
There was no "spot" as the Yankee Boys.
In fact the breeding to produce Devil Deacon (Ch. Gambler/Red Honey) was done in Greg's home town. E.H.
Ted and Eddie was his partners.
The Yankee Boys trio spilt up many years ago. As Eddie bought out Mickey S. buz.
Mickey's son Mike moved 3 miles from me when he married Trish who I knew for many years and had dogs from Iron Gunner.

I have been around the Yankee Boys many times (G&G).
As well as Mr. Bill, Gamedog Inc., P & F., Joe T., and many more.
I also was friends the breeders and saw Rambo in Ohio.
I saw many dogs off of Rambo, including Ch. Switchblade.

But back to the OP about Tornado, I'm surprised when so many never knew of Hoppy (the breeder) who owned all the dogs I named like Ch. Saloon.
Man all the Toledo guys knew him.
Jessie Boggs and I had dogs directly off that stock long before Ken & A Team had any of it.
Remember what was wrote about Ironman.

Talked to someone that went directly into Tornado(campaigned the only animal to survive). He also saw QOH go. His words were that Tornado is the best bitch of all time. I asked him why was she better than QOH he said you couldn't get anything on Tornado and she was just ridiculous as an athlete. He kept saying man that bitch was a "Gangster". He saw her go twice and said she was what she was both times. Also said she was OTW for real and beat real dogmen in all of her hunts. And this is coming from a man that ran animals directly off of WCC's Spanky and had much success with them. Also said all that QOH would've been to strong for Tornado is hogwash. Tornado was very body strong as well. And had a very very good mouth that gets underrated by a lot of folks. He also told me the reason the competition looks like that was because people started running from that bitch with their best animals.

Someone told me the old man Captain conditioned and handled Tornado for some of her shows. Is this in anyway true?

 

wich bitch did tornado go in too, in that show were the vid starts in the hotel room ?.

Boone & them said they wanted Tornado baddd with Lady Stone, but never got their chance, was suppose to get her after beating the 1st Ch but didnt and tried after beating the 2nd Ch to no avail. I've said a million times, Lady Stone was one of the most under valued great dogs of her time for whatever reason. I know several who did see her and she was bad to the core. Lady Stone & DLC's GrCh Bo 2 of the best dogs that folks really don't know.

 

Ladystone really gave Ch Blondie hell. Bad bitch.

 

shady lady beat who again most of her shows are in question. tornado can be seen on line she was bad and smart plenty of what ifs even with queen every dog has them what if this happened what if that but guess what it didnt happen and the facts remain.

Not sure that is the reason, but if I'm not mistaken Tornado was between 42-44, and Ch Blondie was a 42, I know one of Lady Stone's was at 41 & I believe her others were 43-44..

 

lady stone came in 1 1/2 lbs heavy against ch blondie i believe. i think lady stone was a genuinely bigger dog than tornado by a couple of pounds.

 

Ladystone and Blondie were hooked at 42 Ladystone came in a pound over.
