I have followed the media about this character, watched his movie, and documentary. I must say, I couldn't agree more with him about our RIGHT!! to choose whether or not we want to continue to live. It should be a choice and a right oneself should HAVE and MAKE.

Would like to know what the member of this forum think.

i completely agree agree. "assisted suicide" should be legalized and an option. euthanasia should be practiced, but i wont get into my opinion on culling humans.

I have no problem with assisted suicide, if the person is fully aware and makes the conscious choice. I am fine with euthanasia as well, if all tests prove the person is brain dead and will not make a recovery.

i dont agree with assisted suicide and i dont agree with suicide.if someone commits suicide then mentally they are not balanced.assisted suicide, where someone is dying of a terminal illness and is then aided to die with agreement between said dying person and the aide in a painless way has many repercussions.both morally, mentally and religiously.

i am pro choice on just about every topic. so i am pro choice on this as well, if you dont like it then dont do it. Why does someone ELSE have to suffer bc of your feelings towards something?

its just a dangerous thing to contend with.rather than get dragged into this subject ill say this,if said person and thier family agree that assisted suicide is ok....then there is no one to argue.....the people that matter in the decision have said what they want.but.....awww fuck it....i cant....with each thought i have i conflict with myself. ....

  10. My uncle was a coroner in oakland and wayne co. At the time and picked up quite a few of dr.deaths patients he told me a lot of good stories

I'm all for assisted suicide. But more than that I'm for the right to.choose whether or not you want to live regardless of having a terminal or debilitating disease. Someone said something about mental balance... well so what? If someone's been diagnosed mentally ill be it bipolar, schizophrenic, depressed, whatever... they should have the right to end their lives. It hurts living with those diseases too.

being bipolar or depressed is whole nother sport then a termanal illness.it can be treated.

The only reason why he is locked up is becuase DR. K. represented himself in court, he taunted and challanged people that know the law inside out.

IN a court room you can be GUILTY of commiting a crime with all the evedience pointin towards you but you have some good lawyers and they can twist stuff around and the jury will decide "INNOCENT". It also goes both ways you can be innnocent and proven GUILTY if your defenders are incompetent. Which is the case on this one.

I would say, without a doubt, the MAJORITY of people are PRO-CHOICE (abortion, suicide).

Tell that to the people who have been on a whole rainbow of medications that either don't work at all, make the condition worse, work for.a while.and stop or work but have major side effects. It's not as simple as popping a pill and youre happy.
If you've exhausted all options, I think you should have the right to end youre suffering.

i dont think depression is a good reason but there are always extreme cases. At the same time that is just my opinion so it shouldn't matter. If someone else has a different opinion than they should be able to have a choice. I think bi-polar disease in an extreme case could be acceptable. Its not easy to be so far outside the norm and not be accepted by others. you dont know if ur not in the situation so you shouldn't be able to tell them if its ok or not. How do you know? PRO CHOICE! Pro choice is the principle the USA was SUPPOSE to be built on....

We do it to our animals when they are in bad health and cannot live a comfortable life now i personally don't believe in god but if there is a god then what would be the difference we are all living creatures and would be considered of him so yes i agree with it if i am shitting my damn pants and cant wipe my own ass or take care of myself i am no good to anyone just let me get it over with plain and simple

and please dont think bad of me for my lack of religious beliefs i am a very nice and kind hearted person its just the way i feel and know in my heart the same as you believers

freedom of religion includes freedom to lack of religion AGame
That is what its all about, the right to think and choose for yourself rather than force or have shit forced on you

I am pro shutting the fuck up, lol. Seriously though I think it depends on the circumstance, and if it were legal it should be regulated, and controlled....I do however want to address something that AGame said. Religion or lack there of is fine, and should nto be pushed on or deprived from anyone, anyway here goes. I noticed you were comparing us to all other animals in this aspect, and said we are all living creatures (with this I agree), but we are on a totally different level than say our dogs or any other animal on the face of the earth. Holding us on the same level as our dogs is the biggest problem with a.r. groups we don't need our own kind associating with that same train of thought. So in closing, I don't see a problem with it I suppose as long as it is done in a professional, and controlled manner. Just my humble opinion.
