Ireland is starting Weight Pull!

I live in Ireland and we don't have much in the way of dog-sports so, "Ireland's Pit Bull Terrier Association" are starting it sometime around September/October, we are hopefully going to get a visit from the UK's UPF pullers around July/August, I really can't wait and hope it takes off and most of the Pit's and Staffies will participate Also when I get my AmBull they will have someone to lose to

Which do you think would be the best organisation to pull under? we are thinking UPF as that is the one in the UK and that way we can orgainse challenges with them

 

There is a UPF event in Belgium

 

haha Belgium is far away from Ireland lol about 3hrs on a Plane

 

I drive 4 and a half our to be there so there is no different

Hi can anyone help me. I have a 2 years old irish staffordshire bull terrier and I want to start pull training with him but no very little about the sport. Is there any where to get this information and good pulling harness

IP why arent you pulling with your male?

 

This was 2 years ago.

I don't like looking back at how stupid my posts were back then. I was only just gone 14 when I put this up.

The UPF never did get involved with the IPBTA.

The first weight pull was held the day after the conformation show my male won at last weekend. Quite a coincidence that this was bumped lol.

Pitbulls that never pulled anything before beat all the American Bulldogs who've been pulling for quite awhile! The AB people weren't one bit happy. I wish I could've made it to the second day of the show to see it.

The winner pulled 19x's his weight, it was his very first day pulling large weight r even seeing a cart.
