The internet made getting information easy, I had to shovel shit walk feed others hounds to get information lol. Flip side to that is some got lazy and want all the answer with a click of the button, also the information is for all to see which has caused problems. Bullies are a horrible excuse for a dog period. There's not to much that can be done to stop the confusion just educate the confused. Conformation shows are a great way the to show the beauty of these dogs. ADBA is a historic symbol of this breed, but when they started registering Bullies I lost respect but they are a business so I get it. I like Eli x Bolio type dogs with Boomerang , Redboy . I still believe Carver was the greatest breeder of all times. Favorite dog of past I'm gonna go with Ch.Jeep always liked him and had good Jeep bred dogs thru the years. Favorite dog of today El Titere.. The breed is in a fragile state because a lot of guys don't respect the dogs, the internet has played a big part in that also. When I got more time I'll answer the other questions. Yis Ole Man

Do you think the internet and technology has helped or harmed bout breed? Please explain.
Both, but mostly hurt the breed. The internet made it a whole lot easier for the douchebags like HSUS, ASPCA, PETA, Local, State and Federal Authorities to not only be able to learn but to infiltrate and build a case against people as they see fit while wiping out peoples yards in short order. It also helped the Animal rights groups to become as large as they are. Technology however has really benefited the breed in many ways from slat mills to supplements all made better through technology.
How do you feel about the mass production of the American Bully?
Could care less, does not affect me one bit.
What can be done to stop the Bully and the confusion it causes our breed?
    Education.
Which registry do you feel has our breeds best interest in mind?
    None of them.
Do you feel conformation shows are needed to keep the breed true and the bullies from being mislabeled as APBT's?
No. In no way, shape or form does conformation showing keep a breed true, just how pretty the dog is. As far as the misslabling goes, I suppose conformation shows could help with that but again really don't care. Doesn't really affect me or my dogs so I don't have much of an opinion on it..
How do you feel about the ADBA?
I don't feel any particular way about them, they serve their purpose I suppose. unless you show your dog they don't do anything you can't do yourself for free.
How do you feel about the EBA?
I don't even know what that is, another registry or something?
Which registry do you use or like the best?
I only use ADBA if I register a dog. It is the most mainstream registry with in the breed.
What is your favorite line/strain/family of the APBT?
    The Eli/Bolio dogs.
What cross do you feel has impacted the breed the most on record?
Don't really know. I'm not really a big history buff, I like the present and maybe no further back than say 3 - 4 generations as that is all that matters to me, what's beyond there is nothing more than nostalgia in my eyes. I prefer the here and now. In my world it's the Eli - Bolio crosses so I guess that's what I'm going with as my answer.
Which breeder do you feel has /had the breeds best interest in mind?
There are so many of them it's hard to narrow it down to just one. BBD comes to mind first because his dogs are second to none, Always been straight forward with me and helped me out tremendously over the years and don't give 2 shits what they look like, just what their about, as it should be.... To me, that says volumes when talking the best interest of these dogs. That is, if you believe in keeping the breed true which in my eyes is in the best interest of the breed.
Who was your favorite dog of the past and why?
Dirty Mary. Because she herself was a good dog as well as a good producer but mostly just because with out her none 0f my mutts except 1 would exist.
Who is your favorite dog of today?
I have to go with my Geachison, he is exactly what I envision when I think of what an APBT should be, Rough, Smart, phenonminal temperment and he'll punch the clock and work over time if need be. He also is a great looking hound in my eyes all the ladies call him Handsome  If he can produce then he'll be my vision of a triple threat.... Time will tell on that last part however as it stands now, I'd take a yard full of him any day of the week, all year long ;)
Who do you feel as a breeder has impacted the breed the most?
    I'd go with J.P Colby.
Why do you feel the breed is in such a fragile position in this day and age?
Big mouths, the internet and HSUS. Along with its popularity.
Thank you for taking the time to answer.
Your very welcome, I do like where you went with this Thread. Good job!

EBA is the Endangered Breed Assn...ADBA based group that battles BSL and sponsor some shows I believe. Most of the folks dedicated to the registry help out on a local level.

Good on ya AGK you don't need much encouragement to answer a request in a timely fashion aye lol..... hope that Geachison breeding takes(re: Kid's and Bulldogs)and gives you some good results to work with.

Thanks, I try to be proficient as best I can.

I hope it takes too, I owed the first breeding and 2 of the 3 from the first time I did that breeding are around a year old and doing very well. Now, nothing is owed on my part so this time, it's for me. Last sticking will be tomorrow. I'll be glad when it's over lol as much as I like Geachison, he is the hardest sumbitch to breed, we're talking 3 hour ordeals that are pure physical labor....

Thanks, Then I guess I'd have to say I feel the same way about them as I do the ADBA, they serve their purpose. I don't belong to it or anything but if they battle BSL then they are alright in my book..... ;)

I'd like to hear your thoughts EP about the attributes the Hank blood contributed?...(I presume your referring to the Boyles bloodline but do you know if it also influenced the Capt American dogs in the same manner?)thanks.

Thanks for your insights EP, as I only heard about his scratching style...was this and/or the other traits mentioned indicative of his littermates too or was it an individualistic character of GrCh Hank?....(btw...I hope my asking doesn't make you feel obliged to answer EP....It's all good if you choose not to.):)

You ask some good questions. Breeder would be J.P. Colby, Registries none: because I never used them because I kept my own records and I don't trust them with my information. Conformation shows: I don't think help with keeping the Bulldog true. I believe people would start to breed to win a conformation show instead of breeding for gameness and we have just pretty Bulldogs with no heart. My favorite dogs of the past are Tornado because she was something special and went into the best dogmen that was known for bringing a bad ass dog. Art/ Hootens Butcher Boy was my favorite on the male side because they could do it all destroy one quick, gameness and could take it. BB was treated twice with heartworms and went against a younger dog that was a beast and still won. Art was just an ace and would take one out quick and both produced well. Internet is good and bad for the reason that a lot of information is to easily available to the wrong people. Which bloodline I think has made a big difference in the last 30 years is Floyd's Blind Billy stuff for the simple reason it produces winners that produce winners. My favorite cross would have to be Redboy/ Jocko. I took the time to answer these questions because I thought they was interesting and you put so much thought into them.
