For the Hoosiers: I've also heard that they are thinking about BSL in Indy, too.

 

I disagree with some points here.


1). Harris reads his report: “Multiple pit bulls, short heavy chains, wide thick collars, dogs with scarring. He’s definitely going to court for these.”

That constitutes going to court? Write him up for the length of the chains maybe, as they were 1/2 their required size, but, sounds like it's a no win for this owner.


2). and then the line about "web fighting rings" “They don’t really mention breeding and stuff like that. They’ll say we do not support illegal activity … and if they’re posting that, they’re usually the ones doing the dog fighting.

I always thought that assuming made an "ass out of you and me"......
(learned that one in my first day of my Criminology course.)

I almost cant help but laugh at some of the the BS they are spewing forth like little HSUS machines. Good boy.....


If idiots wouldnt believe it, it would be complete comedy. The fact that there are people that not only can listen to that and think "that makes sense" is frightening enough, the fact that these people further the bullshit as "experts" is down right terrifying. What is the world coming to?

 

I live in the next county too indy. The decided not go with bsl. I would however love to smack the shit out of the mayor there. Canyou belive quote on quote said people need to learn to love another breed

 

I was just wondering about the BSL thing because my g/f is planning on going to IUPUI for law school, but if they were going to pass it, then we weren't gonna be going there. Also, if anyone happens to know a realtor that can get me a place in Indy with a decent yard and allows yard dogs, let me know. Something within reasonable distance to campus is preferable.

 

Are you wanting to buy or rent. Also are you wanting to live in indy or a surrounding city

 

Looking to rent. We'd like to be somewhat reasonably close to campus. Preferably no more than a 30min drive.

Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

If they are guilty then I guess that chaining them up and abusing them as they did the dogs would have their lawyers claiming inhumane, unconstitutional conditions.
