is true woody.....let them be noisy and barkand then you lift the nearest heavy thing.....either the shotgun or the m16 assault rifle(hunting purposes ofcourse;)).....lol

i Knew woody would be involved in any thread involving fire arms:D sometimes you scare me mate!
of all the dogs there you mentioned you havent mentioned the one i would own and seems more obvious than some of the others. Fila's.
i would have a fila over any of those dogs, not that there is anything wrong with those dogs ive just been around filas and trained a couple and i could only feel safer with a desert eagle in my hand.

but if i had to choose one of the listed i would go the neo, 90% of intruders would look at one and go to the neighbours let alone confront one!

Thanks for the compliment peppapig. They great pets and are even better guard dogs. The only thing that irritates me about them is their shedding. But other then that they perform the best as a guardian breed IMO.

  4. Akita. My Akita bitch is actually at my feet right now. Excellent guard and protection dog, natural ability, they don't need to be trained to do their jobs. Also, they have some brains to them, which I like more than your average mastiff guard dog that just jumps into shit without thinking it out.

id go for a presa off that list , as a lot of people underestimate german shepherds
and the other breeds tho good guards dont appeal to me , tho the best guard i ever saw was an american bulldog i was honoured to own , she could not be bribed ,tricked or intimidated was great around all kids and immediate family only, never liked adults would tolerate them if introduced but only family could pet her  tho she loved all kids and would play all day even with kids she never saw before (supervised at all times) i never trained her this way and she had lots of socialisation as a pup , was raised same as all my dogs including my other bulldogs she got like it all on her own i wish i knew why:confused:

If it was like guardian for me, idk about my house, Doberman for sure. Theyre smart as hell and they get extremely bonded to the person theyre suposse to be protecting. Its amazing.

I would have to say Rottweiler or GSD based on experience, I think the Rottweiler edges the GSD for me. Thats a lot of dog coming at an intruder.

The GSD was a gift from my father so I have no idea. He told me that he got him off some ranch and that he was the only one left because a stack of hay fell on his litter mates or something like that.

The Pit I bough for 100 bucks off the step-father of some guy I knew. He died the day after the litter of pups was born. He got to see them and the next day he was found dead on a dirt road early in the morning. Autopsy reports say he died of "alcohol poisoning". He did liked to drink though. RIP

  18. doberman.....and screw a 1911 or a colt 45 a cut down 12 gauge with 00 buckshot is hands down the best home defense

Mr Robinson, your dogs are looking good.
I have been reading your posts on molosser dogs for a long while.
I would have to say that..... your dogs look great....but if I were going to keep a mixed breed that I would breed it myself.
This is not to take anything away from your dogs....but even in a ban dog there is no guarantee it will have the temperament of a guardian breed.
