yall want big , fat deer with excellent mass? go to Iowa and buy a non-resident tag. i promise you won't leave disappointed. it's the corn..... the southwesten part of the state doesn't hold as many awesome deer as the middle and south eastern does. i think for a non-resident tag it's like $200 or something. maybe a little more. just go look up the Iowa DNR and you''l find out really quick.

 

we got no issues with small deer here in PA. My buddy shot a 220" non-typical 2 years ago and his uncle shot a 180" typical last year and thats just a few of the monster we take every year. Its all about the suburban bucks around here, where access is limited and the deer are plentiful. Someone recently took a deer out of northern PA that weighed in close to 400lbs live weight, now thats crazy

 

that's a damn big deer.

 

i havent started my deer season yet. i usually wait for general gun season. its a little too warm out for me to sit up a stand with a bow and fight the mosquitos. although it doesnt stop me from chasing some pigs.

 

anything over 160lbs here is good. lol

yeah, my nephew got a 225lbs 10 pt buck last year, and an 8 pt buck (not sure the weight). Definitely no, size problems. This is in NEPA.

its funny my buddy just called me because he just smoked a monster 10 pointer a few minutes ago, they estimate the weight at around 260lbs, cant wait to see this beast later on today
