The site used to sell it's own shirts and all that, with it's logo. Marty made a run of them for awhile. Then we switched to cafepress. I haven't ordered from cafepress, but I've heard bad things about the quality of their screenprinting. Anyone comment?

I'd be interested in some other shirts, post up a few pics of your ideas

no comment on the quality, but I do have some beef with them...I ordered last year a couple of things and never did get them, they called me once and said they were out of stock on one item, and they would not send out just the one thing, so they put them both on backorder....it took me like 5 months to get my money back....wont order through them anymore!

 

Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

 

dang guess cafepress is a No-go if the quality/ customer service isn't all tht reliable. I had gotten a shirt from them was was pretty nice but maybe i just got lucky. imma see what's up though. here is one i worked on with a picture of Ch Chinaman:

 

I'd go for that. Get me a good chinaman, nigerino, and Colby's Pincher tee for starters!

 

With regard to Cafepress, I'm mostly happy with the shirts I got from them recently. One design turned out very nice. The other looks tiny on a huge shirt, but they wouldn't let me make it any bigger. Also, I've got an older shirt from them, and you can see the seam around the design where its discolored. If you could get a professional to do the shirts for you, you'd probably be better off.

 

I've ordered from cafepress... wasn't too happy. The white area of the print, around the design, was discolored (as baha said) after it was washed.

How about Art, Eli Jr, Jeep and Nigerino for the first designs??? Id get one of each....LOL

 

I have a few cafepress t-shirts and they are pretty good.
I think you have a great idea Jay, I would keep the designs simple.

hmm i guess ill just put them up as there are some mixed reviews on cafepress. Hey jeep which pic of art? i seen a couple lol yea tht chinaman one was just me messing round with photoshop lol i got some simple ones. ill up the link when i get a couple designs going for those interested.

 

I like that Chinaman shirt. It might just be my eyes, because they are bugging me a bit today, but his muzzle looks a little strange.

 

I think most of the discoloration problems with the Cafepress shirts occured due to the fact that those are nothing but iron-on transfers. You have to be careful, because some still only offer transfers, but many have since switched to screenprinting.

The only thing I've ordered from Cafepress recently was a shirt for cole saying "My bestest friend is a pit bull" and I don't have a problem with it (other than it won't fit over his big head anymore :o ). However, for our site I would much prefer "My bestest friend is an APBT" or "My bestest friend is an American Pit Bull Terrier" (as we all know I'm not a fan of the widely general term 'pit bull')

EDIT: For a kids shirt maybe we should have something that really makes a statment such as a quote like "He's my bestest friend. I love him. Why do you want to kill him?" placed over or next to a picture of an APBT.
