If animals do not pick on looks or conformation, explain to me why certain species are so colorful. And the most colorful specimen gets to breed. If physical conformation and animals without deformities do not matter, explain to me why the deformed wolf which is less physically gifted due to his handicap gets left behind and is never able to breed because that is the alphas job. Explain to me why I'm nature it is survival of the fittest. Maybe explain why the lioness chooses the alpha male to breed to over any other? Because he is healthy, bigger, stronger, faster, badder, carries the proper genes that appeals to the female. Explain to me why as a human, you would rather be with a playboy playmate than the fat chic with no teeth at waffle house lol. Because she carries the desired genes that are appealing to you be instinct. It's genetic coding that has been programmed into every species to insure the longevity of their particular species. Otherwise, we would have a poor gene pool in every species and untimely be extinct. Not bad for a short bus huh? Bulldogs are no different. If your not breeding to create the perfect bulldog your simply peddling. Example, dog with deformities such as bowed legs loses but shows game. Say I have another male that is perfectly built that lost but showed game. Which would I breed to? The perfectly built dog who lost that showed game. Why? Better genetics and still proven game. I do not want bad genetics in my program. That is one problem we have today, breeders breeding to any old dog just because he's game regardless of health issues, improper build and mental instability. There are Bulldogs out there that are complete and sound from the inside out that could and should be bred to over the lesser specimen. Breeding this way would result in healthier animals, more physically giften animals and mental stability. The complete bulldog, breeding it the other way will be easier and produce more litters and more bad genetics. I prefer to have lesser litters but higher quality, so I will pass on a dog that has nothing to add but game. And take the time and be more selective and find a worthy bulldog who possesses all I desire to add to my program. now that couldn't possibly make sense at all. I get it.

 

Pretty ppl date and marry ugly ppl ALL THE TIME!! Have babies too! Have you seen Sarena Williams' ex??? Usually unattractive ppl make up for it somewhere else. That's performance to me. Breeding litters, keeping them and then using them for a purpose, then culling based on their performance, is actually a scientific experiment. Just because you don't have a Phd in genetics doesn't mean you aint a "scientist". IMO all the top breeders were scientists, they just didn't go to the standard universities to get their degrees.

G4G what is the ratio of game dogs to conformationally correct dogs? You see one can breed a bunch of game dogs and get a good amount of genetically superior athletes. Putting 2 good looking dogs will not get u far. U talking like there is a deep game dog around every corner. I'm not saying health and genetics aren't a factor but this isn't a display of strength like in the wild where its all intimidation. Those animals in the wild cannot afford to take injury because there is a strong sense of self preservation in most of them. These dogs are different and u have ur shit backwards. Yea sure u could accomplish a yard full of game dogs in couple centuries doing it your way some of us don't live that long.
