Cops are scared now days ...lots of young guys becoming cops and they scared so if you look like you tryin something they shootin.But the world is a crazier place now days to for white and black.

Imo it all stated with 2 things........

1. The police switching policies from protect and serve, to collect and herd. Police are now being funded by the federal gov. In return for that $, they have to adhere by new standards. Which teach them WE THE PEOPLE are the enemy.

2. Probably the most important and effective excuse and reasoning that allows all this.....the famous "fear for my life bit". That line in a nutshell, combined with a powerfull union allows these cowards to get away with what they do. With a paid vacation and without fear of losing their job or even worse, saves them from prosecution. If they lose their job most times it's appealed by the union and they're reinstated or transfered to a different polie force where they can continue unscaved.

I remember the policy was shoot to injure, arrest and send to trial. Nowdays most police they're, offier,judge & jury.

 

I agree and I think their have been plenty of times were they could have used other non lethal methods to control the situation but they don't..They just blast away.I hate all them bastards.We got mostly young cops were I live and they scared of their own shadow.

 

There's so much violence in our country and policemen are killed by the thousands annually. I say if you are going to shoot, shoot to kill because over here chances are you going to get shot and killed.
Guns don't kill people either, people kill people...most times the weapon or method differs.

Fear for my life is something media and TV dramas feed to the masses. You have to state facts of exactly what happened. Police funded by the Federal system? The federal system will never get involved with local jurisdictions like that. That whole Furgoson weapons was left over war gear that was given to local jurisdiction. The only time Feds get involved with a case is when criminals start crossing state lines making it hard for multiple jurisdictions to get involved.

 

..let's be honest,,let's say..if you were a cop and there's a guy robbing a store,,there is know info off whiter he has a gun or not,and he come's running out off there with something in his hand...ya don't what it is what would ya do..would ya wait till ya know it's a weapon or not...??????????????

 

Actually 87buick police can get military grade weaponry and vehicles through homeland security.theres your gov funding right there

From the BEST place.....REAL LIFE out in the streets. Lawfirms....come on. We're both old enough to know the only way to know the wholestory is to be there. Anything else is hearsay or opinion. By the time lawyer's are involved I bet both sides got some things they lying about.

Police action is normal out here. I've seen on multiple occasions police beating, tazing, macing people.....some who had weapons lmao. Shit I seen my dad rush police with a tire iron, they didn't even shoot, just subdued and WHOOPED HIS ASS.

Fear for their life is in NO WAY pumped by the news. Yes they cover police shootings but who holds the press conferences? Who's stating that it was a justified shooting, the officer was in fear for his life? It's what the Police are taught, along with shoot till your empty.......now. The only drama is from them, and it is in the masses.

Not sure what neck of the woods your from, but here the FEDS have been involved with our law enforcement since the 90's. We have major criminal organizations here, cartels, and we're infested with street gangs. A couple years ago we set murder records for our city and are very comparable to Major Us cities crime per capita wise, and we usually are.

Furguson was only so big due to the race issue and the riots. Cities all across the us have hem armored vehicles. The one here gets pulled out @ least once a month. We got it yrs ago.

Fed can and will step in local matters, whether it's procedure, jurisdiction, intelligence, funding or whatever it may be. Federal law supersedes local or state law. You just got to be a big enough fish.

My posts were in general and about my beliefs in where this problem rooted. Had nothing to do with Furfuson in particular. Strictly my take.on police shootings and how they've gottenbto be more prevalent as times evolved. In the end it seems as if most of these modern officers sign a check their asses can't cash.
