Hitatchi Blower bad ass.I got it for around 150 off Amazon. This fucker has a 7 year warranty for residential and 2 year for comercial use.I have this one and am using it as residential. It even passes California strict poloution laws. You could prob fart on it and it would start.170 mph wind , 2 cycle..I bought a Craftsman blower last year and it was junk from the get go.

Mine is a Stihl 2 stroke. Commercial version. I forget the model # off the top of my head. Knock on wood it has been a good one.

I'm not a tool guy, or better said, I'm not a brand guy, like everything Dewalt or Stihl or whatever. The past year or Lowe's has had some pretty killer deals on Hitachi brand power tools. I bought a 3 1/2" nail gun and it has shot like a million nails with no issue. The 2" brad nail gun has been superb. The circular saw has been really nice.

Since I shop price first the Hitachi stuff gets the first nod. Thus far it has been worthwhile.

When you have this many trees and dog spots to blow then you find a backpack is a need if there ever was one. lol

On the Hitachi, good pick up, Bama. I haven't used their blowers but I know they make some good power tools. I don't own one now but have used them.

I can imagine and i agree on the power tools, i have had my drill for a good while now, holding up great. I originally had Dewalt tools, drill and sawzall, both were stolen.

I wanted a hand held. The reviews on this Hitatchi were very good .Its really easy to use and only 8lbs and 9 oz.I did a shit ton of research before I bought it.My first thoughts were Stihl,Echo etc all the big name stuff but I decided I was gone research and read reviews and I wound up with the Hitatchi.

My second choice would have been a Makita.

Mine is a back pack blower. I got it at a pretty good deal at Home Depot.

Knock on wood it has been a good one. 5 or 6 years now. You can look at it sort of hard and it will fire up and idle.

I am hoping after singing their praises they do not to decide to go belly up the next time I need them. LOL

That is good to hear as I am only 5 or 6 deep into mine. It is a commercial blower but I use it around the house. At times it is a bit overkill but the price was right at the time.

    I can't complain at all.

You gotta do all that research these days bama, there is so many products on the market lol. I spent about 2 hours yesterday working on my Echo, mind you i bought this thing for $20 last year. Had it tore apart and it still won't fire, i emptied out all the gas over the winter, not sure what it is but for the price i paid, i might just go buy a new one this week, need a chainsaw too, nothing fancy, just to keep my brush cleaned up.

If you can test the coil and see if its good.If not it would be inexpensive fix.You have to set the gap on the coil , shouldnt be a hard fix.

Yeah, i tried to get her going again this morning, it does act like it's not getting fire, i will check the plug later when i get some more time, i have a feeling it's something simple but i would like to keep it honestly, it was a damn good price and i usually buy new..

I learned my lesson on researching shit about 7 years ago now, bought a pressure washer, used it about 4 or 5 times that summer. Winterized it, pulled it out the following spring and the damn thing wouldn't start, come to find out, that specific model was just junk, never again will i buy yard equipment without researching.

Yeah, i will check the plug today, if it's not the plug it could only be the coil or plug wire.
